I lost touch with god for a while and I just prayed for the first time in a long time to ask him to guide me the right way and this is the ad that comes on
That's so powerful. Seems so little but once you ask him to help guide you and show you the way you start seeing signs from the universe you never thought were possible.
Jesus' spirit and his Angels have saved me so many times, but most significantly helped me out of my drug addiction that wouldn't have been possible without him. I was 100% a lost cause because the Devil had such a strong grip on me. I felt it and I tried everything to quit and get help. I finally gave God permission to move through my body and surrendered. I'm 5 months clean today and all Glory goes to God 🙏

Don't ever doubt the Bible. It is truly the inspired word of God, and contains so much information that only God knew. And after over 20 years of researching and trying to disprove any part of the Bible, I am just more and more amazed at just how accurate and perfect it is. If Jesus was God he would have told people to worship him, but he did the opposite and disapproved anyone worshipping him: And in vain they worship Me [Matthew 15:9]
If Jesus claimed to be God than there should be hundreds of verses in the Bible which would have mentioned it. But there is not a single verse in the entire Bible in which Jesus says I am God, worship me

Love that passage. I've seen references to the Law, or as Jesus put it, "The Law, the Prophets and the Psalms." Jesus was referencing the Torah (our Old Testament). The Torah is comprised of 3 sections, the LAW, the PROPHETS, and the PSALMS (or "WRITINGS). The Law is the first 5 books that Moses wrote, from Genesis to Deuteronomy. Jesus Himself validates the authenticity of the Torah, or our Old Testament, praise God! We can be sure that the OT is the true, inspired word of God because Jesus says so Himself. Read On! :-)

The thing is that it's difficult. No more compass that keeps you on track, day in day out. The sets of values change, society becomes one without pilot and thus just tribes each with their own sets of values, etc.
There's a correlation between us humans today fully living and buying on the exploitation of farmers, clothes from slaves, an oil-based lifestyle on the back of tens of millions in dictatorships or war victims, etc - AND us no longer knowing the 10 commandments, as everyone used to do.
Now we violate them, all of them, on a daily basis. That's a horrendous society (and, as history shows, one that's on its last legs).
You CAN be a good person without god, but it will take work, constantly thinking about what constitutes good, whether or not you follow those own rules. We love to think of ourselves as being good - but are we? 200 million humans in famine because of our anxious lock downs? The 5th and last mass extinction of species? Slaves working for our clothes?
In my opinion we can only call ourselves more or less good, when we actively and very awarely try to do and be so.

In Luke 9:50 the Lord said, “Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side.” Our ways of approaching the Lord may differ, but He loves and rewards our sincere efforts. It seems to me that during His ministry the Lord was far more concerned with helping the humble change their hearts and 'do right' rather than reinforcing those who bent on 'being right' about how they worshipped. "...man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (1 Sam 16:7)

It was always funny as a missionary that when I would get my scriptures out and people would be shocked that I would have them all marked. Apparently that's blasphemy to some people. But when you mark them, they become yours.

Most people are pretty smart and know that the bible is full of parables for various reasons Christ spoke in parables. Eating the words of the prophets is like accepting them in your heart like if it's a matter of life and death. Taking the words personally to the heart and mind and believing the words holding on to those words not just reading and moving without any rememberance of what was read. Adding those words to your life. The bible is truth, it does bring peace to those who really want peace and are worn out and stressed out because of things that life brings, evil things, sick things. I believe for anything in life people are going through there is an answer in the bible that. The most important promise from the bible is the chance to join the kingdom of heaven in the life after death process that everyone must go through, it's not just burying you 6 feet under and your done. I'm not a Mormon but I love this promotional video.

In this verse he affirms that he was sent by God: This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent. [John 17:3]
If Jesus was God he would have told people to worship him, but he did the opposite and disapproved anyone worshipping him: And in vain they worship Me [Matthew 15:9]
If Jesus claimed to be God than there should be hundreds of verses in the Bible which would have mentioned it. But there is not a single verse in the entire Bible in which Jesus says I am God, worship me
