I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to uncover how to draw amazing pencil portraits try Loctavan Amazing Drawing Strategy (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my cousin got amazing results with it.
~ Summary: P1: composition & the location of face or art. P2: measuring high & width of the face by pencil. P3: vertical space of eye: it sits in the middle between the top of the hair and the chin line in a straight forward face. P4: divide the face further more into four lines: hairline eyebrow line bottom of the nose line and the chin line. P5: horizontal location of the eye: divided into five eyes (not always applicable). {the distance of one eye is the same distance between two eyes} P6: A square in the face, in which the distance between the eyebrow and the chin equals the horizontal distance of the face. P7: location of the mouth: divided into 3 lines (5 specifically): bottom of the nose, bottom of the lower lip and chin line. P8: location of the ears: it sits between the eyebrow (sometimes upper lid) and between the bottom of the nose in the forward face, become above the eyebrows in a tilted downward face, and below in a tilted upward face. P9: the width of the nose is equal to the distance between the two eyes (usually). P10: the width of the mouth is the distance between the 2 iris (usually). P11: use triangles to check for mistakes: 2 angles are from the lateral corner of each eye and the other angle is either from the bottom of the nose or from the cupids bow of upper lip or from the centre of the chin.
