37:25 With Barb’s SMW skill, this is how I imagine he sees the game all the time (while it’s full speed for us) and we just gained some insight into his brain.
The pacing of these levels is allegedly much better than their last alleged hack, Sonic Saves The World. The mechanics are all very clear, tight and develop just enough to be interesting without overstaying their welcome. The death blocks blending in a little is a stupid problem to have, nobody ever said death blocks were TOO obvious so dial that shit up to max. Overall, splendid hack improvement.....allegedly.
BAHAHA, "Hanging by a thread" really had us all hanging there on the thinnest twine in history at the key hole, right? I LOLed so hard, I acctually laughed out loud!
Personally I wasn't a big fan of Maddy's last hack. But just based on the first level, this hack is sick!! Edit to add: My initial comment was based off seeing the first level alone. After finishing the video, my thoughts are confirmed. Amazing hack. It's definitely up there as one of the best of the year, even with being so short. I like the excessive use of checkpoints. It'll make the hack more accessible to more casual and lesser-skilled gamers. Much respect to Maddy (allegedly) and Margot (apparently) for designing such a cool game! I can't wait to see others in the Mario community play this.
My Dad never threw a handful of chest hair at me, but my older brother once mailed me a birthday card with a handful of pubes in it - placed in just the right way that when I opened the card to read it, they rained down into my lap. Never got an answer as to why. Every time I ever asked him what the hell he was thinking, he just laughed his ass off.

Observation: That clock level is a little tricky as the sound effect starts every 1.00 second, but the “clop” sound is in the middle of the sound wave, not the very beginning.
