This is what we call hunting. This is how the meat in our supermarkets get on the shelves. It does not matter what type of meat you are looking at, chicken, beef, and wild game. Every single PERSON ON EARTH has or have a family member that hunted once in their life. So if you think this is cruelty just make sure that you do not EAT THE MEAT THAT WAS PRODUCED IN YOUR SUPERMARKETS LABORATORY
The bible says which meat must eat and which meat must not eat. We don't eat any other meat or cook any other meat than chicken or mutton. To add more , some ppl don't eat meat at all and there are ppl out there that don't eat meat. I hate most of these bullsh!× african safari professional hunters. Not this one.
First you had me and drew me in loading that old well used Ruger bolt rifle at the beginning. Next the actuall client hunter was the real deal. My man hit a bit right on that facing shot but followed up quickly with a better second followup and was busy figeting around looking like a deer in the headlights. Great job my man.
Coming onto the quarry the professional lets the client finish the work. Thats the way it should be and the PH should only get involved if theres certain danger of life and limb at immeadiate range. Great job all the way around. Great hunter, and great old bull that was taken.

The Wild Life organisations are in the cities eating steaks!! Really, before you judge, why don't you do something about closing down your local abattoir? They slaughter hundreds of captive-bred animals each day - for YOUR convenience - which were born into captivity purely to be killed so that ignorant and hypocritical people like you can buy a nice little cellophane packets of meat at your local supermarket!!
The Wild Life organisations actually APPROVE of legal, sustainable, hunting as the ONLY proven and effective game control measure to ensure the future survivability of wild specie populations: as contained within their ever dwindling, and isolated, pockets of habitat. Furthermore, there are NO social security offices or welfare handed out to the impoverished locals, whose subsistence crops are continually destroyed - and they themselves regularly killed - by virtue of living cheek-by-jowl with these large and dangerous species (elephants, buffalo, hippo, crocs, lions and leopards). The locals are given the meat FREE and form a substantial part of their diet. In this manner, poaching stops, and the poachers become "game managers" - looking after their own wild specie stocks, knowing that they'll get the meat without ever having to work or set a trap for it. Simple fact is, that once to put a price on an animal, it then becomes someone else's livelihood and future income!! Understand? In this way, the hunting industry is not only the major source of employment and income for such rural communities, but also implements those measures to protect and conserve wild species for the future.
By this simple logical explanation of the facts, I now hope you realise just how naive, ignorant and hypocritical your views are!! So, GO tramp the wilds of Africa and LEARN something about reality!! (Or at the very least, go watch "A conservationist's cry" by Ivan Carter here on YT).
These anti-hunting psychopaths need to come to Africa and how hunting is a part of our overall wildlife management program(s). It's very easy to be negative when you have NO idea what's going on.
TOTALLY AGREE!! Once you put a price on an animal it then becomes someone's income and livliehood. Therefore they will then protect that source of income. Simple common sense economic incentive that drive the successful CAMPFIRE system.
Free meat drop offs stop poachers, and when they realise that by sitting on their arses they'll still get the meat anyway - for nothing - they'll help hunters get the trophies they want. Thus gaining meaningful employment.
Also, when villagers and expoachers see vast sums of money being made they then start to manage the local specie populations as renewable resources to get their slice of the action.
Taking out big old bulls - past their breeding potential - from doe herds allow the younger males to breed and maximise a 100% offspring rate for next year. So sport hunting actually INCREASES wild animal populations.
As David Attenborough said words to the effect: wild animals must start paying their way to survive in today's world. 👍

One thing I could not understand was the need for the last shot. The animal is already down and not moving. Hunters in India have told me they pelt a stone or two to see if the animal is dead instead of another bullet. Reason was it makes it easier for the taxidermist and does not destroy more meat than necessary. So unless the animal responds to the stones thrown at it, no need for another bullet.
Its because that animal may not have the strength to get up, but it may still be alive. They wanted to put it down and finish it so that it wasnt suffering

I use a .458 Win Mag! 500gr projectile driven by 72gr of AR2206H - all 1-shot kills!! Works wonders!!
