OK, OK, hear me out. Four and a half hours?! That’s way too long, even for me. No, I am not trying to set a record for longest ASMR ramble on UA-cam (though a Liv Tyler fan can dream).
My plan was to do a first pass to cut out all the loud noises (and have an extended version saved in case I ever wanted it), then edit down to a quasi-defensible 2.5-3 hours.
But my editing app keeps crashing (unsurprisingly), and I’ve been stuck with nearly the same very rough cut since the beginning of May. It would take me weeks to edit from scratch-and I don’t want to keep you all waiting any longer-so here we are.
Maybe I’ll still put out an abridged version at some point. Then again, maybe there’s no use, as you’re free to skip around as it is, to adjust your playback settings to a higher speed, to do whatever you like.
That said, no one is under any obligation to watch to the end (or at all!), and I did work very hard on this video, and allowing myself to talk so deeply on this subject was very cathartic.
All this is to say that excessive moaning and groaning in the comments will be blocked!! IF YOU’VE NEVER FALLEN IN LOVE WITH YOUR SNEAKY LINK AND THEN NEARLY GOTTEN THEM KILLED, THEN FRANKLY I DON’T WANT TO HEAR IT!

Anyway, thank you all very much for your patience with this series! More & shorter videos to come. And I’ll be back soon with time stamps for this one (as interested as I am to see what chapter titles UA-cam auto-generates).

When I saw the premiere pop up in my subscriptions I SCREAMED. This is my Super Bowl…I’m so invested. I told my husband part 4 is out and he said I’m set for the rest of the year for my go-to video. I cannot wait to watch!!!

Not everyone can tell a story as brilliantly as this. I think Remme is doing something really special with these long, intricate stories. To me it’s like a new art form! The story about the tow is also brilliant. She’s so smart and funny but also deeply reflective and honest.

incoming onslaught of comments here. i went through something very similar to what you did right before dating my current partner who i love very much. i had a 'situationship' with someone that had been going on for years but was never anything serious. they would spill their guts to me and talk to me about love and heartbreak and the world. we had really strong physical chemistry. it felt so easy to be around them and we just clicked. then at the end of 2014 we had something occur between us that was scary and unsettling (just like you). and that initiated the ending of that sitationship (at least back then). I have been with someone for over 8 years and this person has recently reached out to me thus bringing up some feelings once more (and making me realize maybe i still have some unresolved feelings about it because it felt like there wasn't really closure before). anyways, thanks for sharing. our situations have a lot of similarities and i do think that often times some people are really just scared to fall in love (at least at a certain stage of their life). they aren't ready for the intensity or that they'd have to face themselves through that connection. all the best.

In a nutshell, he said he was afraid of getting really attached and then losing me. He was struggling with a lot of anxiety at the time, and when it got to be overwhelming he would freeze up or shut things down-but he was always trying to overcome his fear.

@@RemmeASMR I actually came here just for the whispers 😳 but found a great story by accident. As a 50 yr old man I can truthfully say that one of the single most formidable experiences of my life was experiencing heartbreak. It's a bitch when you're in the middle of it but it changes your life's perspective and depending how you process it, it can by a fantastic experience or horrible. I do believe it's a choice, you seemed to have chosen the positive.
Also, I follow a ton of whisper ASMR channels on this platform and I've watched as they start out from nothing and in a few months build to 100's of thousands of followers with 15-20 videos. It's mind boggling to me that Remme doesn't have millions of followers like some of the others. I can usually figure out the dynamics of something like this but in this case, I'm baffled. She's as good as they get and a shit ton better than 90% who have over 100k. The only thing I can think of is that she's too perfect and people dont connect, maybe she needs to film after a day at work, the gym, no make up, bad breath, B.O. 😯 etc. 😝. Just sayin'.
