We don’t really do parent conference weeks but this seems like the ideal schedule for it!But yes it has been a struggle for me to get into the gym this week after school too! 😅
How do you guys do conferences? Yes! Sometimes we just gotta do it 😊
@@KathyKellogg we’ve usually done student led conferences at the beginning and end of year. We assist students with speaking on their progress. But we usually do parent conferences based on our discretion or by parent request! Parent conference weeks seem like a great way to outreach to families!

If possible, fly with the carseat. They can sleep in there way easier and you can clip it into the seat
I packed cheerios, yogurt drops, puffs, pouches, a bottle, apple slices....anything that isn't messy if dropped
Clip pack to their clothes so they can't drop it
Hand sanitizer wipes are the best
Change of clothes , plastic grocery bag,, and extra diapers on wipes for plane.....nothing like blowouts on plane....
We used sleep machine and warmer sleeping outfit planes get cold.....
We let her walk in the aisles with us as much as possible before flight to tire her out...
Those suction toys that stick to windows and trays are awesome for planes!

We would have one half day usually a Friday then all conferences after school that day
Just got home from school and I'm so happy I get to watch this video! Also, quick question, when you get your first classroom budget to spend, can you add in your own PERSONAL money?? Love, the 10 yr old who watches ur vids bc they are the best!!!!
A lot of schools don't have a big class budget and you really only buy the necessities... my school I am grateful for such a big budget! Everything decor wise is mostly a teachers personal money. Thank you Aly! ❤

Does anyone know where Kathy’s braided Apple watch band is from? I like it but can’t find it
I think it's from epic watch bands!! They don't have the exact color but I got mine from marshalls :) I would try solace watch bands too

Student’s Date folders
No way could we raise money...we are at a Title 1 school and only our PTSA can do school fundraising. Parents are allowed to give donations though. Parent/Teacher Conference Week for us is Minimum Days on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. We can do our conferences in the mornings or afternoons. It's up to our discretion.
We are title 1 as well but we are raising extra money for upcoming field trips! Our PTA also raises money on some Fridays.
I know my 7 year old daughter Julia can raise some money for a good cause
