Not much enthusiasm for the acebeam p16...tough to compare to p23i...larger battery, emitter and 40% increase in price. All good though. I like your reviews and the consistency of where you test. It's important to have that baseline. I just got the p16 as well as pd35r both are nice. The 35 is the most comfortable in the hand of the dozen or so flashlights I own....problem is I have to gift either the p16 or the pd35r and I can't decide which to keep lol. ✌️
Thanks mate, glad you're enjoying my videos. The beamshots are tricky to do, got to find somewhere safe to do them in the middle of the night. I prefer the PD35 series :D the head is the same diameter as the body, easier to carry.
Was hoping to see comparison of Wuben T1 versus Acebeam L17 1400. Both are close in price, have long throw and have the tacticool thing going for them. Head to head, how about it? Or maybe you’ve done it elsewhere.
I haven't got the L17 but have a few lights with the same emitter and similar throw (presumably CSLPM1). The L17 I'll throw further but very likely to have a smaller hotspot and little spill due to the TIR lens. The T1 produces more light/spill, larger hotspot but with less range.
Hi Mario, yep I've used the Warrior 3, quite a nice light though turbo didn't run as long as expected without stepping down, and I think you need about 75%+ battery to access turbo.
Tough choice. P16 supports all types of 18650 cells. The Nitecore does not but it's way more powerful. If you can get some replacement cells, yeah I'd go the Nitecore.
I got a Convoy C8+ SST40 and then sold all the other crap i had , Olights included. With a fully charged quality battery reaches 600m easily. The build quality is mediocre but at such a low price point it is understandable.
Yeah for sure, convoy beats most other lights just on performance alone. I'd like to see them make a proper 18650 tactical light. Have an S8 on the way.
Hi Jon, yep I'd say the FC12 is the best value budget tactical light out there! But the others I talk about have some serious upgrades in performance and quality.
@@DarrenYeoYT oh really? I can still buying it at amazon spain. If you can choose one, wich one would you choose? Being both available, for edc, self defense, and reaching long distance?
I'd go the P23i, it's superior in almost every way, and much brighter too. But it takes a proprietary battery. Otherwise you can also go with other options like the Fenix TK20R 2.0. I have this one as well. @@didactech28

Darren, I found the P23i a quite impressive unit! The TA30C Max wasn"t too shabby either.
Hey Gus, those two have comparable throw/output but the TA30C Max has better sustained performance :D
sick vid mate. Maybe in future ones you could make a slide with all compared light beam's next to another
Thank you mate, ok I'll try add one in for my next comparison video!
cheers brother

I have a lumintop AD01 and it would have a similar beam profile.
Have you look at the Olight tactical ones? Warrior 3s and warrior X 3?

What do you think of the Nextorch TA30C?
One of the best tactical lights I own :)
@@DarrenYeoYT awesome - just ordered one!
Acebeam p16 for 110$ or the nitecore p23i for 140$ the light would be used for security purposes

FC12 wins! Price per performance!

p23i or p16?
The P16 is discontinued. P23i is a powerhouse... And throwy too.

@@DarrenYeoYT i bought a tk20r v2 and returned, didn't like it, I preffer the nitecore is slimmer.
Of all these, which one can work in turbo or high mode for the longest time?
Hi John, the Nextorch ones - they have the longest sustained output in turbo due to them being larger (better heatsinking)
