Hi Thanks for your video! When I record, it seems to make a seperate recording for each slide and then combine all the seperate recordings into one big video when I export. Is there a way to create one recording from the beginning? Thanks!

Unfortunately in PPT 2016 for the Mac the drop down menu from Record Slide Show does not show. Do you do (or know of) a tutorial video on the 2016 version for the Mac please

Hello! I seem to have a fundamental issue. I am using PowerPoint on a mac version 16.16.27 and even though there is a record slideshow, button i click on it and it doesn't seem to record audio at all. The laptop's mic works fine so I am wondering if there is some setting I need to activate? Following your video, I can see after the attempt to record the timings just no audio linked! Thank you!!!!!

I read somewhere that powerpoint 2016 does not support video format on Mac. Maybe downloading another powerpoint version would help.

hi this video was reaLly helpful but i do not have the ability to save it as an MOV or MP4. the options simply are not there. On macbook. is this simply to do with having the wrong version or am I missing something? cheers

This is probably because you have to export it and not use 'save as'. When you choose export you do get the option for mp4 or Mov.

I have a wierd problem .. after recording, the exported MP4 doesn't stick to slides timing it records the entire movie with long timing !

Hi is it possible to have the camera on and record this as well as narration on a Mac? You can on a PC...

Unfortunately not on a Mac. There are things you can do. One is a great product like Camtasia and is worth it if you have to do this regularly or need something really good. If you are interested I can send some links. 2. If you are happy editing on something like iMovie you could record the camera using QuickTime and then combine them afterwards. Would be interested in your thoughts.

i don't have 'export' as an option to save. I only have 'save as a movie' or 'save as' - when I use these it will only give me the option to save it as a .mov and there are no animations or audio when it plays on quick time :( HELP!
