Thanks for sharing this awesome Mountainbike experience. Its really fun to ride this way and those relaxed "competetions" to pump a bit harder but like the guy said with a lot of fun are really rare, at least here. The Mosaic Hardtail looks like a majestic rocket. I love that machine and the electronic shiftig looks awesome on that. I am not sure if I ever want to ride with batteries on a bike but it ads some simplicity look to a beautyful bike like this. Liebe Grüße 👌💪🦵
Thank you! I think pushing yourself can be fun. I'm trying to balance pushing hard with not getting overly competitive. Starting in the back helps me to stick to having fun.
Nature is amazing where you ride. You did great camera job stabilizing that camera. Nice video like most of your videos. I have been following your channel for several years and always looking to your adventures because of your laid-back narrating style and bicycle knowledge. Your voice is amazing too. Regards from Serbia. P.S. Btw, almost forgot to ask, were there any 26inch bikes out there in the race? It seems they are almost extinct. Have you ever considered riding a fat bike on those long beaches in California? :)

This is a '09 Hardtail with 90mm of travel. It's made out of aluminum, but has a RockShox fork on it. I bought it new in 2009 on a huge discount. I've Swiched out the wheels for a set of Stans wheels I bought at Performance bike when the store was closing. Quick release of course. The original brakes were by Sram and failed after a few rides. The company warrantied them and switched them out for a newer design. The new brakes were pretty poor too. Sometime around 2016-18 I switched the entire brake system over Shimano XT and they have been good. The bars are by Nitto for a little classic flare. I also run a set of Schwalbe XC Racing tires with Addix compound 29x2.25, tubeless. Pretty fast!
@@paddyhartlep8424 We like huckleberry's but we also like black berries, strawberries, raspberries, marionberries, boysenberries, elderberries, mulberries (who doesn't like mulberry?), so many to chose from!
You have some great riding buddies. Everyone you chat to seems sooo nice.
Thank you!
Cool seeing you at Ukiah-Mendo, parked next to you for the night.
Custom Fitz Mountain Bike on the way?
Sonoma's gorgeous this time of year before all of that grass turns brown.
It really brings out the colors of the lake.
That Mosaic is a work of art.
Indeed! I'm always jealous of Sali's new bikes.

Did my man just call you huckleberry? For shame 😂3:35
I think so!
Can this course be ridden during the week?
Yes, it's open to the public. There's a larger network of trails all the way around the lake.
Thanks. Ill try it out.
Looks like a nice place to ride
Hey henry!
Tell me about your bike!
