I like the Remington Core-Lokt 150s. Perform great and a bit more accurate from my Marlin 336 than the 170s. Love your channel, very detail oriented and technical, and you seem like a really smart and cool dude, like you'd be an awesone neighbor! 😀🍻 Cheers from the States!

At the ranges an iron sighted 30-30 is used at trajectory is irrelevant.
And putting a scope on one is sacrilegious.
I prefer the 150s too. Mostly based on the expansion and shock.
But the Hornady FTX is truly the better mousetrap.

The only thing is NOISE when hunting up-close. Tape sling points ,etc. Don't get busted ! 🐗 🐻 🐺

Just picked up a 30-30 AS , I believe it’s the last on Marlin till they went Remlin lol , fun gun to shoot , only tried 150’s , will see how the hornady’s do , have a great Xmas

For the thick woods I prefer 170 gr. ALWAYS get a pass through on deer. Even my biggest buck at 125 yards shot through both shoulders, heart and Lungs with big blood trail. 150’s don’t pass through as good.

From 20" carbines .30-30 never makes factory spec.

I’ve found 170gr is just not accurate from my Henry.
