One of my favorite movies....Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger, the transformation is amazing.
When u see how each scene is done and how the cameras are right there,its kinds weird cause when your watching the movie you dont even think of all that stuff.I love seeing how these movies are made...so cool.Johnny Depp is so good.Oh and the actor that played Halloran is Peter Skarsgard...Flokis brother lol

You realy became a fan of him after watching this movie? You must be a young person cause Johnney Depp has so many more movies where he shines. This guy is a cameleon. Don't tell me you didn't saw him in Pirates of the Carribean before Black Mass, or Public enemies or any other movie with him?
@@instrumentaldude8349 I am an almost 60 year old female and did not like any of his other movies - including The Tourist - Black Mass is his only movie I liked
so I became a fan. Free country! I never watched Pirates - just did not care about it - thought it was for kids! If you could watch it to the end - congrats!
This is one of the best performances of the last decade. Johnny Depp is amazing in this movie but the fucking critics just destroyed him because of his domestic problems and excessive life style. This is one for the books!

Loved this movie , i don't support violence but Johnny's character was outstanding and the rest of the casts were brilliant too
one ht best gangster performances of all time not to mention probably one the best performances of all time, i would put this in the top 5 gangster acting of all time right next to AL Pacino as Scarface and Goodfellas with PeSci and DeNiro and cant forget James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano.

The 2 real people Johnny Depp has played and pulled off perfectly are George Jung from "Blow" and whitey Bulger from "Black Mass". Prove me wrong.
Based of a real event? He played a villain in Public Enemie, also based on a true story. Go watch it cause it's a masterpiece.

Black mass is way off. 1978 the Black friars murders at the pub in Downtown Boston. Black mass doesn't even mention that where Whitey bulgar used go .They don't even bring up 1989 frank Salemme long term friend of Whitey Burger. In June 16, 1989 frank Saleme went the pancake house in Saugus, ma. Two drive by passes shots frank got shot bad in the chest & went over to papa Gino's pizza 🍕. The police came & called ambulance rushed frank Salemme to the Lynn hospital with bad chest wound & shot in his leg. Wild guy Grasso of New Haven, Connecticut. New England mafia. Bianco got caught up with racketeering investigation by killing Grasso . Frank Salemme joined the Partriaca family. Frank Salemme passed away December 22nd, 2022. Black mass is way off.
