Pinnacle studio is getting better and better!
How did you get it "transparent" you don't explain. You explain what a transparent pic looks like, and how to insert into the video clip, but you don;t explain how to make the original pic, transparent.

Hey I need help with my pinnacle studio 22. When I put an png file onto my video. It still shows the png background with the Grey and white background. How do I remove that png background?

I have Pinnacle Studio 22 Ultimate and I can see CineForme... Can you help me... Thanks a lot...
Hi Magic Dreams, since Pinnale Studio 22 Ultimate does not have CineForm, what I do is add a green background instead of a transparent background to the video. And then when I use it on another video I use the ChromaKey effect to make that green background transparent and to be able to put it on top of any other video. I don't speak English very good so if you need any clarification about what I mean, just tell me.

is the cineform format in pinnacle studio 26?
Can you also import a video with alpha transparent? I try but the codec isn't recognized by Pinnacle (.mov H264 with alpha)
Can you save the result as a project/effect that can be imported in to other projects rather than saving as a video file that can't be edited/changed? Would be good if its editable properties remained if you wanted to make changes later.

Why can’t I export a video that’s a CineForm
This does not work for me, Cineform is not an option to export too. Using version 22.

This only works if you open it back up in Pinnacle. The export file will not work in VMIX or Cyberlink Powerdirector.

I've had the dev team look in this one - looks like the Cineform codec is not suppoted in Cyberlink PD17 (as discussed in the third post here: forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/77316.page;jsessionid=C2272538D4BBA080A03F80B676157B7F#top). We used another editor (VMIX TRial 23.0.0.54), with an exported Cineform MOV from Pinnacle Studio 23.2 (following same steps in this tutorial) and it plays fine - video and audio. At this point nothing more I can have the dev team look into - if you continue to run into issues with compatibility and the formats are supported, please let us know.
The transparent did show transparent in VMIX? This is the problem I am having. I have created a title with a transparent background that I would like to use in VMIX as a lower third with a transparent background. VMIX will play the CINEFORM .MOV however the background is not shown as transparent but rather a black screen. thanks

Hmm, I wish you had created a demo of transplanting a moving object or human onto another moving image. That would really have created demand. Adding a still image, even a sliding one isn't much of a demo. It's kind of like picture in picture, rather than green-screen.
