I saw one with tandem axle and it looked really sweet. My fishing is mostly rivers and marsh not much big water to speak of. I’m seriously considering this boat. I have had the jaguar and loved it but it was too big for me. I have a20 foot Ranger that never goes over about 45, even in tournaments. Speed is not my thing anymore. Basscat is with out a doubt the best boat built.
Edited: Sabre, not Lynx, got my wildcats, confused... 🤣 That's a nice smaller bass boat, especially with the size of the rear storage. Very efficient use of space. I have fished out of a Bass Cat Sabre as a Co-Angler, which is a similar size bass boat. These smaller boats let you get into some better spots than you cannot in a big bass boat. It should run in the mid 60's easily with a full load and 2 people. Great weekend warrior setup...
Check the BCB owners board. Guy has one over near the Mobile Delta. 65-66 solo with 25 Tempest. 64 with 2 adults. He’s running a 25 Tempest. Not sure what trolling motor he has on it, but I think it’s an Ultrexx. Remember this…BCB can narrow the trailer on a custom order down all the way down to the beam of the boat if you want. If not, it’s usually~102” outside tires/fenders width. Narrowing the trailer would allow to push into an 8’ garage door. It’ll make it sit higher on the trailer as well. This Bobcat is a nice little rig. You are correct in getting into backwaters. Exactly why I have a Sabre right now. I would be more than happy with a Bobcat too. It looks wider on the front deck than my boat.
Why the outside hinges on the back deck? That looks terrible the rest looks good, Someone didn’t think about that ahead of time, that makes it look cheap.
@@Richard-mj5dp A well thought out Bass Cat thing. I traded in an older Panterra 2 for a new one a few years back. Old one had these hinges and I was a little disappointed the new one didn't.
Easy mid 60's , just fished a tournament in a BCB Sabre Merc 150 efi fully loaded with two people on Baysprings Lake... no problem. But my boater does know how to run it too... It's not the fastest (80mph) boat in the club but gets there quick enough...🍺🎣
Why did Mercury make 150hp outboards so ugly nowadays, 150s used to be beginner V6s with good power and good looking motors, Mercury could have easily make the cowls look like the 175s
Bass Cat makes a beautiful boat.
Just got my Bobcat. Love it so far. It will do 65mph easy. Super fast hole shot.

Would be a great starter boat for a tournament angler! All set to compete!
Great walk through brother 👏

Yeah your right! My son wants me to get a bigger boat but we have a 20 ranger and with fuel prices and where I fish I’m going with the bobcat
@@shanehamilton6708 I will say you have to watch long rods & crankbaits with 2 people...
I love this boat I don’t fish a lot of big rough water mainly smaller lakes and rivers I think this would be perfect great video as always
How cute, it's so little!
sheesh looks firee🔥🔥🎣
I think u passed me on I80 east today? I was working driving a semi heading to RI
Nice boat.
I have a Margay and it's a great boat. I'm sure this one is to!
How fast is your Margay?
@@shanehamilton6708 I've seen 62. It would be faster if I could handle the chine walk. I get chine walk after 60.
Thank you that’s plenty fast for me
How much did you get it for?
Nice boat...
It ought to be nice. These new Bass boat's are super High Dollar.
How much$ I like latches better on that boat than I do the big bass cats,an live well lids better on this mode, how fast is it

I believe that lid is removable so you can access pumps etc. from inside the boat.
that’s a bass cat thing
Correct the entire lid will come off. It literally takes about 5 seconds. It's very helpful when you need to work on stuff.

I would think 60-61 lightly loaded.
Maybe 63 with very little tackle and only one person.
