I bought both of these devices and agree they each have their own merits. For me, I prefer the Annapro because it is lighter and does the job required in a simple way. Plus, as you said, it is better for lying down to watch content which is mostly what I use my Vision Pro for. Thank you for an informative review.
I have the globular cluster and really like it. I use mine with the immersed app on a pc as my monitors all day and it works great. The part in the back isn't an issue since I use it sitting in an office chair.
I also find this one to be the most comfortable. I personally haven’t been using it much tho since I got tired of switching out the strap every time I wanted to lay back on the couch. But the weight distribution is unmatched for sure.
Very interesting review! I have the Annapro and I put the solo knit lower on my head (as you did for the other one) and bingo : very secure and very confortable. Maybe not as elegant, but… And to be able to use AVP without the light seal is a game changer hanger for me. I feel more connected to the outside world, see if something is coming from the side and touch my face and my eyes. For most daily uses, I don’t need complete immersion.
@@jobinivan that’s a good point! I hadn’t considered how using AVP without the light seal might help relieve some of those disconnected feelings around people. Definitely giving this a shot. 🙏
Thanks for the review. So one doesnt have to buy them all just in order to choose one of them. The return policy isnt that great often for ppl outside US on etsy.
Thank you, I was looking for this exact review. I purchased the Annapro prior to picking up my AVP next week. As both seem to be good after your review, I will try the Annapro first since I already have it and see how much time I spend with it on and then decide if I really need to try the CMA1
@@TechTechGoose I love the Annapro and especially when I am using it at work without the light seal. The only issue was that I put it in the Spigel case, which is technically tall enough but the internal storage space takes up some of the height. when i closed the case it was snug and cracked the Annapro on the top center. No big deal, the pad with the Velcro still keeps it together and Annapro said they are going to release on with a hinge
Thats first vr device that im glad i have a big head 😂, it feel comfy for me out of the box so i dont have to seek any kind of new head straps. But thanks for the review i love bobovr strap for quest and i think its as comfy.
Add me to the list. Great Content. As I already have 2 of the 3 solutions listed here, (The over the top Apple Strap and the Globular Cluster) I only need the Annapro to complete my collection. LOL. Side note on the etsy/Apple strap combo, i do hope you ordered the smallest possible size for the overhead strap. On recommendation, that is what I did, and it worked really well for me. But it was still lacking a little so I have been using the Globular Cluster off and on. Because, as you said, the Globular Cluster is NOT conducive to laying down and watching a movie. (one of my favorite uses for the AVP). But it rocks for work (ESPECIALLY for work - graphic design-I have actually put in a 10 hour day with the thing with little to no discomfort) The Annapro sounds like the perfect compromise though. I do worry about changing out the Globular cluster often because of the thinness of the attaching clip. It's not flimsy, but I don't think it was designed to be changed out daily. Thanks again for the Video. I had not even heard of the Annapro until now. Will check it out. Be well and good luck on the channel.
@@williamcalderini6370 thank you 🙂 I have both solo knits in a size small as well. Annapro is releasing a version 2 soon and I’ll have a new video up soon reviewing that one.
Great video! Stumbled across your video. Keep doing this! I recently picked up the Apple Vision Pro Comfort System from Tyco Tech with the premium face pad. It is definitely a lot more comfortable than the stock straps. But watching your video, I’m now curious on the others. Maybe you will get your 1000 likes and I’ll be one of the winners! 😝
Have the same issue with a solo knit band mod. Printed diffrent adapters but my head is just too small for a comfy fit. Currently undecided if i should get the Annapro or the Globular Cluster. Would be interesting to know what you like more in the long term.
Based on personal experience (I have all the accessories) Annapro is lighter and looks cleaner, but the shape pushes the headset away from my head reducing the already low field of view The globular cluster CMA1 is much more comfortable but looks so ugly. I find myself going back to the first accessory I bought the solotop (double solo knit loop). Disappointed in the Annapro, as cool as it looks, the field of view is just too small when it pushes my face away from the headset.
@@DROCIVXX that’s an interesting point, I hadn’t even realized the lower FOV but that’s true. I’ve also been using my solotop adapter again as well for a couple days. I hear annapro has a v2 coming so hopefully it’s a bit more adaptable.

Thank you! 🙏 I use my AVP laying back about 90% of the time, so the Anna Pro has seen more use on my end as well.
Can't believe you don't even have 100 subs yet. Thanks for the great video!
