I love that accuracy is finaly improved and not only by saying that, but proving it on paper. Bravo OMEGA!

This interview really explains the Spirate so well. In words, I guess we would say you are able to change the 'stiffness' of the balance spring, but actually, you're attaching the silicone balance spring to another spring, and you're adjusting that second spring rather the balance spring. I felt this was easier for me to explain to people by imaging that a balance spring would be attached to something similar to a rubber band. This can have a similar, and maxbe even different effect of an overcoil hairspring. I am buying!

In 1973 Omega made the first chronometer certified chronograph: the unique Omega Speedmaster 125th with the cal. 1041.
Exacly half a century after the cal. 1041 Omega now introduces the new cal. 9920. Coincidence?
    Love Omega innovativing!
    P.S.
Hope they make a central minute chronometer chronograph again!

The ability to adjust post production to the individual user is really attractive.

Omega is for sure a superb brand. I love Gregory and his way to introduce and explain the watches - a real engineer who cares for detail - see the videos by Watchadvisor Alexander.
But there is the behavior of the brand: the endless new editions, the crazy website .... it is turning me off. It doesn't fit for me as a serious high End Swiss brand. Omega is not Casio. Less is more. Just my opinion - Great talk, Great video - many thanks to you both! Hope that Gregory will get some influence on the marketing :)

Who at Omega has this fixation on combining chronograph hours and minutes in a sub register? Five families of watches have this annoying illegible feature: 57, chronoscope, side of the moon, racing, and moon phase. Each with multiple family members so ~+20 watches! That’s too much illegibility.

it seems you will lose the date window with 3 subdials.
