My mom taught us to make rinds water melon that is but we to yake off all the rednorbit wouldn't be crunchy we soaked in lime salt water 12 hrs.make a.vinegar,sugat spice concotion bring to a boil pour over rinds let set in the vibegar 3 hrs then cook 45- to an hr,put i scaled jars so good
Interesting. I have made it without the red part before using salt and vinegar. Without the red part it would make the pickling crunchy and last longer. I like to prepare it both ways. Thank you so much for the tip and recipe! I really appreciate it.
