Had four preteens come into my store when I worked as a cashier at a Walgreens last year. So, I actually worked at McDonald's recently. I quit due to mental health issues and over stimulation problems, but either way I was at McDonald's for 7 months.
The highschoolers and middle schoolers that came in after school let out were the absolute fucking WORST.
They'd scream, start fights, crowd in one area, make a mess, bother the employees (myself included). It sucked. It got so bad to the point that my manager considered adding a rule that stated no minors can enter without a legal adult. They caused so many problems for us.
I had one try to ask me out which greatly disturbed me. I was just trying to sweep the floor.

Bold assumption on class status. But unfortunately kids from the middles class and richer classes are more likely to do stupid shit like this than kids from poorer demographics.

You can't live outside of a small secluded village in Britain and not have to deal with a crowd like this currently, it's baffling and eye opening whenever you head into anywhere that's a town centre or larger that these "things" exist.
We had to deal with it locally, we had a group trespass onto private property, the golf club I play at (I don't mind people walking on to the golf course and being respectful, find a bench and enjoy the views and sun for half an hour, happy days) but these kids proceeded to steal multiple golf buggies, crash them into ditches, destroy the greens and steal a whole manor of other shit, anyway 2 of them got caught as their group ran and were brought back to the main building by force, the Police were called as were their parents. The parents arrived and were livid and wanted to press charges against the people that hauled the kids back. The police "convinced" the parents to let it go if they didn't charge the kids with anything... it is just so freaking backwards. If I was a parent I would be so freaking embarrassed and annoyed to find out my kid was out there spending their free time criminally destroying other peoples property and ruining others time, but these degenerates were only concerned their little rats had been caught...

I work in a little shopping centre which is filled with kids just like this who wreak absolute havoc, the shop next door to mine ended up having to shut after being tormented by a bunch of kids to the point where the owner completely broke down. Probably every shop has had their windows smashed by them and every sales assistant in the area has been traumatised. It’s absolutely insane to me that they can do this and particularly in my area the police apparently can’t do anything about it because a lot of the kids are in foster care. It’s truly sad.

This is sadly a common occurrence in the UK where younger kids will commit crimes and get away with it for entertainment or internet clout. I'm the older brother to someone like this and I would like to say that no amount of punishment or good parenting will change them. My younger brother is constantly being lectured by my mom and being punished by the police however still continues to do things exactly like this with getting no punishment whatsoever. Its more likely the parents will face more backlash from this and procedures will be put in place to see if the parent is well parenting... These kids are troubled and sadly are too far deep into what monsters they're becoming, hopefully eventually they mature and realise you can't be a functional adult like this or they get put in jail.
Just wanted to throw this out because It's such a big problem here in the UK especially and with everything else that's going on in the UK at the moment it feels like we're losing touch on what it's like to be civilized and functioning society.
