It sucks how much of a taboo topic weight is and how self absorbed and conceited it makes you look to others when you admit you don’t want to know yourself when you’ve gained a few pounds. I can so relate to how depressing and debilitating rapid weight gain (especially as a result of binges) can be to your mental health.
I come from an eating disorder background and while I’m slowly getting less and less weight conscious I’ve gone through periods of weight fluctuation where I’ve gained 5 kilos in like two weeks and deadset haven’t left the house because of how ugly and disgusting and embarrassed I feel. On paper it sounds like a massive overreaction but it’s all psychological and yes it’s a real thing and it sucks big time. I’ve missed out on so many things in life because of how reclusive and isolated I get when I go through these slumps.
Nowadays I am a lot better with managing with the mental side, but of course we all have our down days and even our down months.
You are not a pathetic person for admitting to this. In fact I think it’s extremely brave considering the stigma associated with this. Good luck and take care x
On the plus side at least this throws all those stupid rumors about you not swallowing your food out the window haha.

Juliette Kratochvil wow i applaud u for ur comment it is sooo true and the way u went about it IS THE REALEST THING IVE READ IN A HOT MINUTE but just wanted to let u know THOUGH its easy to say it but YOU AS WELL AS MEESH and everyone else is beautiful regardless of their appearance sad to say it is bc of society standards that theres a lot of pressure on how women should look body wise u know the hourglass figure hair always done nails done etc etc needless to say it is just standards that have been created due to males perspective on the "IDEAL" female body 🙄
I've been here since basically the beginning and I could definitely tell you weren't yourself. I'm sorry you had to go through this. I can relate so much with you. It's easy to say hard to take to heart but please know that we love you no matter what you look like and I hope you can believe that. I didn't start watching you because you were beautiful, which you are, but I liked how authentic and funny and relatable you are. You helped me through a rough time in my life. I can also relate to the weight thing :( I feel so uncomfortable with the recent weight gain I have. Especially since it also just goes to my face and thighs and back and horrible places lol Its hard to even leave my house to certain places sometimes because of how insecure I feel. I dont think its vein at all I mean its our body we live in it and its what people see us in and If we dont feel good about ourselves we feel like hiding. Anyways Im just happy you are ok! :) so many of us missed you! and I think your reasoning is valid ! and understandable!

I can relate to this so much!!! I gained weight this year, and it has taken a huge affect on my confidence. I stopped hanging out with friends, posting on Snapchat and instagram because I HATE the way I look. I gain weight in the same places as you. It’s so easy to gain it but so unbelievably hard to lose it. I want to lose weight, but at the same time I’m so depressed I just want to eat whatever I want. It’s a horrible cycle. Please don’t think your reason is stupid! I completely understand how you feel! Glad you’re back!
