    l did this exact thing years ago and it’s great for medium sized trees. but if you want to use a big shot, it’s hard to know how much to pull prematurely, you could have the perfect shot and then all the sudden it stops mid air on the way to that perfect shot, cause you didn’t pull out enough.🤦🏼‍♂️🤓

      I have also had that problem. I’m currently using a milwaukie reel and it hasn’t broken yet and I’m better at gauging the shots.

    It will hold 150’ comfortably of 2.2. Don’t let the new guys use it, it’s not unbreakable.

      Looking back, I agree, but I couldn’t get a knot to fit through or I would have. Please let me know what you figure out

    wondering how many feet of Zing It throw line it holds, 2.2 or 1.8mm?

      also, do you consider this a light and compact enough rig that you find yourself hauling it up into the canopy ever, for advances/traverses/taglines/etc?

    • @oneministries4878
      @oneministries4878 4 роки тому

      Super light, but a small zip bag is lighter

      I made one with a smaller standard size to carry up with me. No way I would use one from the ground tho. Way easier to just use a throw cube. But nice and compact for short throws in the canopy for a second tie in or rigging other branches
