This is probably one of the worst "Tornado Size Comparison" that I have seen. Commentary is good and correct but things displayed are anti-scientific nonsense. 4:00 WHAT IS THIS? That's not even the shape of this tornado. Are these buildings one mile wide? And all this on a channel with so many subs... Thats just sad.
You can't tell how destructive a tornado is going to be by looking at it. You should probably just get to a lower level whether it's a wedge or a rope regardless lol
I live in Alabama and we are definitely part of tornado alley and Mississippi too we get them a lot I’ve been in one directly and it’s no joke !!!! Omg thank god we had a storm shelter at the time I’ve never been so scared in my life !!!!! It was a ef3 the sound and pressure is like no other and it was at night time too and I have strong anxiety so bad even when it’s a thunderstorm that’s under severe limits I still get nervous
NOPE! If you are on a highway, get to the nearest overpass and climb UP to the top and hide as close as possible to the center underside of the top passover bridge. Tornado survivor here! You die out in the open from debris, usually.
That is a dangerous myth that has resulted in the death of dozens of people. Overpasses create a wind tunnel effect that makes winds stronger. The only thing you get from being under an overpass is something to hold onto. If you’re on a highway, get into a ditch. Sure, you can survive by going under a bridge, but you can also survive by holding onto a lamppost (neither of those options are recommended).
@thwingerpodthvet4302 Wives tale, only a fool would stay in the open or a small ditch with projectiles in excess of 135 mph passing by, which was the case in my and the other individuals with me survival story. Stop regurgitating what so-called "experts" say. I suggest you speak to actual people who got a look from the INSIDE of a tornado. I am well aware of the aerodynamic forces generated through a converget-divergent orifice. Those forces pale in comparison to being struck by projectiles. Use common sense, have the courage to buck up against outdated dogma, and really save lives rather than toe the "scientific" concensus. A lamp post, are you kidding? Use your head!
@thwingerpodthvet4302 To the people following this thread. I was just censored with my overpass rebuttal. Do not stay in the open during a tornado strike. Get overhead coverage. A tornado will strip pavement from the roadway. You need a secure structure to hold.
Funny thing is most of the footage you showed wasn’t actually from the tornadoes you were describing.
Came here to say that regarding May 31, 1985 event. At least one of those videos was from Wheatland. Many of my realtors were in that tornado.
Those twin tornadoes were the EF 4 Pilger tornado
One of his best videos 👍
Keep going bro
Thanks bro!

try and think of the animation as more of a reference than a 'to scale' visual guide. CG is tough man! appreciate the feedback : )

Great video!
Thanks for watching!
Great video
Appreciate it!
When there's enough real tornado footage and you show hollywood, cmon bruh
Did Bridge Creek not get a mention? It was an F5, with wind speeds over 500km/hr.
also “wedge” means as wide (or close) as it is tall
Nice information 😅
Thanks for watching! 🙏
i know the top 5 by heart but here i am still watching
Tornado is coming!❤❤❤
Why do tornadoes keep getting bigger every year?😮
40 SECOND GANGGG❤❤
4:53 that’s Teardown
Just got here😅

wow! thanks for sharing!
thumbs down for random movie footage 😵💫
they were mostly tornado movies, but sorry to bother ya! real tornado clips are expensive, as it turns out
May 23, 2016 Moore, Oklahoma.
Terrible 😞
ya, nature can certainly be terrible to us!
@ no kidding
They don’t get taller as they go 🤦
might just be a perspective thing on a 3d plane, but you're right - most get wider!
❤❤

NEVER EVER Hide under an overpass
It funnels the wind and amplifies it.
Why does your facial hair looks CGI
haha I like to keep it looking clean, my guy!
Nearly all movie footage and AI bullshit. Thumbed down. Do better.
What can we say, filming tornadoes is hard man! Thank goodness we have movie clips to help us with our storytelling : )
First?
First❤❤❤❤
Horrible video! Dont waste our time with random MOVIE clips
Movies suck, eh? Who needs 'em! Also, real licensed tornado clips are pretty expensive, as it turns out. Appreciate the feedback!
