Saw this Monday night in LA. You have to see this band play live to fully appreciate them. Akane and Kanami were both on fire. I got to the Echoplex at 8:40 am and l wasn't the first one there. The crowd was really cool as people go. Some were straight arrows and some were smoking pot and throwing back a few drinks but everyone was great and respectful of each other. Literally spent the whole day on the sidewalk before the show at a Band-Maid love fest. Looking forward to seeing them again at my next opportunity.
See how the front line, huddled down for Akane's drum take off, that was so cool ,this song is a real treat, for Saiki's vocal climbs,love the chord structure, in the tune, it really hits the spot.
The moment from Misa being funny staring att Saiki and Mincho trying her best to reach Misas mic to sitting down for the worlds happiest drummer solo and finishing with a kodak moment guitar duo solo between a pigeon and a midget. That's that Band-Maid live magic right there!
what i like about Band Maid...is they don't pretend to be something else. they seems to be enjoying what they are doing unlike some bands that play their music and that's it.

I think i read an interview once where either miku or kanami said that this song is the easiest for them to play. Probably explains why they always have the freedom to unwind on-stage when performing this live.
Thank you for uploading. With Kanami's guidance and Miku's constant efforts, the sound of the entire band is becoming more profound. It seems that you can enjoy various arrangements from now on. Even so, the appearance of Miku inspiring the audience is cute.

Saiki, aunque no entendamos nada cuando canta en japonés tiene una voz impresionante ni que decir de miku que acompaña a Saiki y es la compositora de muchas de las canciones. Resumiendo, como muchos dicen :es la mejor banda de rock de los ultimos 20 años.

Akane and Kanami were both incredible in LA Monday night. And the audience response to every song and Miku's magic time was literally deafening. She used a lot of English. "You guys love Japan?" She asked. You love USA? Then you love Band-Maid." The crowd roared. And of course a huge birthday balloon was presented to Kanami along with a loud rendition of Happy Birthday. My only gripe and it isn't much of one was no acoustic versions were performed. But it didn't detract to what was offered.

There's that envy again :-) -Ofc, an acoustic break with just Saiki and Kanami could've been spellbindingly good. Imho, the perfect counterpoint.

She sang the first verse again. Which was why they gang up on her now when it's her turn to sing freedom. Even the concert last 5/10 Kanami, Misa and Saiki surrounded her 😂

I don't think so. I think she is just keeping her idea about the "gap" front and center. Band-Maid, specifically small pigeon, has taught me don't judge til all the facts are in, never judge a book by its cover and do not assume anything.

I really enjoy these series of Gramercy Theater videos of yours because we can hear exactly what Miku is playing loud and clear.
It’s because she is using a Marshall amp for these shows. It really makes her sound stand out. Her 5150 amp gets lost in the mix.

Great video! They had so much fun during this song, you can tell how much they really enjoy performing. This was one of my favorite concerts ever.
