there is no shame in that, seeing triple and you have to go out and dodge punches from Canelo but his nonsense about how he was cruising through the fight and having a great time before that is laughable, he had some nice flashy periods but from the beginning Canelo was crunching him with nearly every exchange, there was nothing to say Canelo was slowing and BJS was coming into it, if that was the case he wouldn't have retired he would have said let me at him, the idea they would pull out and get a rematch was laughable, there was never going to be a rematch

Brilliant interview , my views have changed on Saunders , he seems to have matured extremely well .
Brilliant interview. I always find it sad watching Billy talk about his career & life though. The fact that we all see him as somewhat of a wasted talent, despite being a 2 weight world champ, tells you just how talented he is. He could have been one of Britain's greats imo
100% agreed mate, he was surrounded by total clowns at his peak, loved watching him, serious talent gone to waste.
Career was coming to an end after testing Positive. We don’t know how long he was on it
@@HatersHaveOpinion1when did he test positive
@@x12-y8v
When he was schedule to fight Andrade. After that he moved up & fought 3 pies & got stopped by Canelo
they could all be on it. it's too costly to test for everything and they can't test for PEDs they don't know exist@@HatersHaveOpinion1
That was a great interview. Billy is very smart and he seems to have also matured. With the talent he has if he wishes to come back I'd love to see him fight again.
Smart? Matured? What planet are you on?
This is a top drawer interview. A totally compelling watch 👏
This interview was brilliant. Simon and Billy credit to you both
Without Billy's encouragement, Tyson Fury would have never gone on to be the Superstar he is today.
Billy is a good soul and I look forward to seeing him fulfill his ability based potential over the coming years.

This interview changed my mind in how I felt about Billy as a person. I didn’t think he would have any regrets about the negative situations he put himself into. He’s a pretty decent bloke and I have noticed other boxers like him a lot.
He publicly mocked a young child dying. A little girl.
@@yessir6947 Never heard about that and can’t find any story about it online?
@@yessir6947can you tell me more about this I don’t know what your on a bout but I’m intrigued to find out ? That’s a bad thing to do man but I haven’t heard nothing about this before
Hes pulling the wool over your eyes 😂
Not to mention the fact he literally would drive round in his Range Rover and deliberately run over people's pets if he ever saw them in the street.
Such a lovely fella.
Eubanks Probably Won’t Be A Champion But One Thing Is For Sure… HE HASNT QUIT
Exactly. Jacker
Well said brother 😂
Billy never quit
Yet!
Love this interview watched it around 4 times or more now..billy Joe saunders stay in boxing where you been
I am glad billy has now matured and is now speaking sense
Took him long enough!
Simon Jordan has helped Billy Joe immensely with this interview fair play sj
Hopefully Billy is on UA-cam more often, missed the fella.
Get him on the telly, let him replace some of the shit that's there
Billy been beating women up again he is good at that 😂😂😂😂
Thank Simon and William Hill for getting legends like Billy on
Brilliant interview 👏
I would’ve liked to have seen BJS fight Canelo at middleweight after the Lemieux fight.
Tremendous interview, met BJS once, proper nice geeza when we spoke. Proper boxing talent. Good luck to him
Just watched this , live I wasn't very familiar with Billy but was enthralled by his candour and honesty
and really impressed with Simon Jordans interview brilliance . I thought no one could usurp Michael Parkinson
Simon Jordan is a consummate host as he is not only well read but very good at getting the most out of his guest
Brilliant channel , thank you
Candour 😂😂😂
You can tell he's being very honest in this interview 🥊kudos to both 👍👍
Have to say i truly believe Eubank has more heart than Saunders the "fighting man"
Not as talented as Saunders but lives the life. Stays in shape and wants all the smoke...deluded or not
I couldn't stand Saunders after is antics outside the ring. But this interview was brilliant he talks really well.
Great boxer, looking forward to seeing him back in the boxing ring.
good luck with that
😂
These interviews are fast becoming my favourites to watch, especially those with current and former fighters,Simon for all his background in football seems to read the room very well when he has a boxer sat opposite him. Excellent viewing 🥊
He’s bullshitting about the Canello fight his corner said they asked him if he wanted to go on after the eye injury and he didn’t reply he just sat on the stool silently so they threw the towel in … he froze
100% it's also been shown what you said. It won't stop others from blindly believing anything he spouts though.
there is no shame in that, seeing triple and you have to go out and dodge punches from Canelo but his nonsense about how he was cruising through the fight and having a great time before that is laughable, he had some nice flashy periods but from the beginning Canelo was crunching him with nearly every exchange, there was nothing to say Canelo was slowing and BJS was coming into it, if that was the case he wouldn't have retired he would have said let me at him, the idea they would pull out and get a rematch was laughable, there was never going to be a rematch
@@gruunt4064no but don't laugh at others' and state you'd rather die than quit, then go do the same thing in your next fight.
@@roymunson1 did you think he was actually going to fight until the death, I'm pretty sure that is a figure of speech, he didn't go down on his knee after the broken eye socket, he fought until the end of the round

Fantastic interview. Cant wait to see Billy back where he belongs
Brilliant to finally see one of the best technically gifted boxers Britain has ever produced Finaly seem like the penny has dropped and look forward to his ring return! Great interview 👍 👏
Brilliant interview can’t wait for mr Saunders to get back and win a world title he’s a class act
This has to be the best BJS interview ever done great job Simon.
Seen a different side of Billy Joe in this interview, He seems very level headed and introspective, 🙌 Great interview
Excellent interview Simone. And incredible honesty from Billy Joe. Well done lads.
Inzaghi?
@collydub1987 😂😂 that was a good line!!
Seems to have matured a lot! Top talent who could have achieved even more! Hope to see him make a go at a comeback!
Absolutely loved this interview, brilliant from both men.
My fav part of interview is when Bill proudly confesses he wanted to box eubank outdoors and Simon like a dad tells him off 😂 an Bill excepts advice 👏🥊🍀
Seriously good interview. BJS is such a gifted boxer. Simon is nailing this.
Billy Joe did himself no harm with that interview, let's hope he gets back in the ring and tears it up 👏👏👏👏
Great interview. Covered a lot of ground there. I for one hope he comes back and does well. Good luck to him.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, thanks SJ. Looking forward to the coming back BJS!
really enjoyed this, i do think for the talent billy has, for me he underachieved a bit. he's still had a good career, but you just feel he could have done more. hope he comes back and does well.
One of the best natural talents this country has ever seen
😂
"He will never be a world champion as long as he has a hole in his arse" What a statement lol.
Get back in the ring, one of the best british boxers around!
Fair play to you Billy where you've come from an what you've achieved is amazing. I definitely have respect. Forget all the haters with negative comments that's just there mindset because they wish they'd achieved half of what you've done. Look forward to you getting back in the ring.
So you think people who leave negative comments have not achieved anything? Did you do an in-depth survey of these people? And you also think these people wish they had achieved half of what this mindless fool has done? You must be some sort of genius.....a genius who doesn't know the difference between the words 'their' and 'there'. I take my hat off to you.

Billy seems like he’s been humbled
Taking over 2 years out the ring is a long time to be inactive
He should of used the Canelo fight to spur him on..maybe had 12 months off max and come back…can’t see him fighting in December..he’s about 2 stone overweight..he needs to lose that weight and get in 3..maybe 4 fights before he retires in a couple of years..Hope we see him back ✌🏾
This guy had a lot of boxing talent but not the mental side. He could have achieved more.
Olympian. Star amateur. Two weight world champion. Are you listening to this man talk?

Great interview - always enjoy listening to Billy Joe - always get 100% the truth.Looking forward to his comeback.
I really enjoyed that. BJS showing intelligence and SJ showing himself, less the Talk Sport persona. Brilliant interview.
Another great episode Simon, can't wait to see Billy in the ring again, can you please get Ricky Hatton on one week, would make a great show I think. 👍
Brilliant this 👌🏻. Simon at times finishes what billy is going to say but says exactly what billy was going to say. He's so in tune with Billy and know exactly what to ask him. Really really good listen this was.
Most naturally gifted middleweight Britain has ever produced. We all have our demons. Good luck Bill for the future
Billy a fraud bum FFS 😂😂😂😂
He gained nothing but a shitty wbo belt by fighting bums all his life 😂😂😂
It’s funny how we judge people we don’t even know. Respect to Billy Joe Saunders. Great interview. 😁⭐️
A great and insightful interview. Well Done Simon. 👌🏽
6mins in and already too many edits. A man like Billy Joe needs to be unfiltered and unedited.
Fantastic boxer and great character for the sport.
Hope Saunders finds his form and fitness and gets back on top because the game needs people like Billy Joe.
👀
Really enjoyed that; very good interview Simon, and appreciate Billy being so honest.
I thought billy was still refusing to come out of his corner. Did you convince him Canelo wasn't after him anymore?
Absolutely brilliant yet again. Thanks and long may they continue.

Loved that interview Billy Joe is one of my favourite fighters.
Well done Simon 👍
‘Got to be young and stupid.. to be old & wise’ nailed it Bill. All the best with the comeback. Git uppp!!
"If you're not dumb and young, you will never be old and wise"? What a load of BS. Sounds like his grandad had the same number of brain cells as his grandson. And the same number of brain cells as you pal.

Love Billy Jo… really great interview…. Nice to hear his back story.
Hope his comeback goes well…
glad you like like immoral bullies.. your family must be proud of your values
Really, really enjoyed that, he’s definitely matured and I’m looking forward to his comeback.
Love to see him doing some punditry after he’s finished for sure.
'But won't that make you soft'
"What going on holiday?"
😂
I remember when Canelo smashed his face in and he quit on the stool 😂😂😂… retired him from boxing… life comes at you fast!
You try fighting with a broken eye socket ya nonce
How many world titles have you won son? In a few hours when your getting grief from your boss whilst earning minimum wage, think of billy not answering to no one.
Yep Big Facts! Definitely got his face smashed in! 👌😏
@georgearthern2163 he still quit though. What's worst he made fun of another boxer for doing the same.
@@gi2050 no he didn’t quit like Daniel Dubois quit. Billy’s corner pulled him out. Daniel Dubois took a knee and didn’t get back up. He also didn’t make fun out of him, he made a comment about how Daniel should’ve gone out on his shield
Honest in depth interview by Simon
BJS is one of the most overhyped British boxers to have ever lived. The dude fought nobody but journey, finally fought a worth guy and literally got his face caved in to the point where he retired.
Facts
Canelo raising his hands after that shot was knowing he’d won it and total relief. BJS may have been heading for a points win but for that one punch! I’ve never seen one punch suck everything out of a fighter like that one did without being rendered unconscious.
Point win lol he was down on every score card but one when that happened
I'm American and Billy Joe Saunders is my Fav boxer, and I wish him all the best. 👍🇺🇸🗽🇬🇧👍
Fair play too billy Joel because be this interview poi wouldn’t have give you the time of day but now I wish you nothing but the best.... can’t wait for your return 💪💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Very enjoyable intelligent interview, a real breath of fresh air after the endless pointless vacuous IFL clips
Love how this bloke barely beat Eubank but talks about him as if he ko'd him in rd 1. Probably about the best he's beaten in fact.
