Who knew they made the original 4005 units with the Star mini buzzers? That sucker is rare. Congrats on acquiring it. I wish I had one with the buzz, but my 4602-9102 annunciator has the buzzer, so that's good enough.
This brings back memories for me, especially with the alarms going off on code 3. My elementary school had Simplex 4903 mechanical horn strobes and they were being coded to code 3. We also had one of those T Bar cages in our gym as well. The only difference is, we actually single action Simplex T bars.
Is it at all possible for you to remove that board outside your room? My parents actually make me use boards so I’m wondering if we have a similar situation 😂
I have those alarms at the school I’m about to go to this year, about to get a tour of the school tomorrow. They have no strobe sadly. Edit: Here is the mostly full list of alarms: Alarms shown in this video with no strobe Gentex commander 1 Spectralert classic horn Spectralert Advance horn Many different types of old horns The building next door has the alarm shown in the video
Those horns sound majestic
Nice 4005 and Nice Video, gotta love those old panel buzzers.

I’don’t know why my school has a mechanical horn in the bathroom it’s ridiculous right!?
Probably cause it's an older system and system setup back then weren't as strict as today.
Older Edwards Alarms sound like that as well
No they don't.
I’m getting a fire alarm pull station
