In this episode we invite you to join us on one of the most beautiful passes in the Pindus Mountains, the Baros Pass or as the Greeks say the Mparos Pass. Baros Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.905 m above the sea level, located on the boundary of Epirus and Thessaly, in Greece.
The pass is 24.4 km long, running south-north from Matsouki to Anthousa. The road runs through a stunning beauty path between canyons, steep slopes and dense forests. From October to May the road is usually impassable due the snow. Stones often fall off or slide from the steep slopes downwards. We were there in late May and we found snow only on the side of the road, but the storm that followed us all day long caches us on the top of the pass. The scenery after the storm was breathtaking and followed us all the way to the beautiful Syrrako. This village was built on the steep slopes of Mount Peristeri in the Pindus, and retains the traditional stone buildings. We had an idyllic atmosphere in a very old stone guesthouse with an incredible panorama.

Pasul acesta a fost peste așteptările noastre. Mulți când se spun Grecia, se gândesc doar la mare și plajă, dar iată câte locuri splendide sunt și în munți, cu resorturi unde se schiază. Eram in mai și încă era zăpadă pe marginea drumului. Aveam sentimentul că eram undeva in Alpi. Mergeți și voi, merită vizitate aceste locuri! 👍😊
Bună dragii noștri prieteni 🤗🤗🤗ca de fiecare data mă lăsați fără cuvinte, pentr-u că trăiesc un pic din emoțiile voastre! Nu-mi imaginez ce e în inima voastră când vedeți aceste frumuseți care încă mai rezista 🙏mam gândit eu că era prea frumos sa fiți feriti de ploaie măcar de acestă dată 😊dar...... sincer nu știu cum a-ți înfruntat acele momente care sincer îți făcea pielea de găină 😲dar mam bucurat de restul ptr că a-ți reușit să ne arătați peisajele cum nimeni altul! Fără cuvinte, emoționante momente! A-ți meritat să vă bucurați de aceste peisaje de vis, ptr că voi sunteți deosebiți, cu suflet mare, de aceea găsiți prieteni și în piatră care să rămână cu voi! Nu e de mirare! Până și natura vă răsplătește, cu frumoasele imagini pe care ni le trimiteți! Nu știu alteori cuvintele nu sunt de ajuns la emozia pe care o trăiesc! Va mulțumesc din suflet pentru tot efortul depus că să ne bucurați de vacanta voastră! Va iubesc și va imbratisez cu dor 🤗🤗🤗🥰

Gyönyörű helyeken jártatok. Hát...szótlanul hagyott ez a hágó! De szép és érdekes a kő híd is! Szerencsére nem volt hó vihar, így csak keveset áztatok! Érdekes kis görög faluba értetek! Csak így tovább!🎉
Igen nekünk is nagyon tetszett ez a része Görögországnak 😉 A Baros hágó pedig szenzációs volt, és nekünk nagyon tetszett a kanion melyik szélén találtunk szállást Syrakkoban 😁👍

Az volt, szenzációs! Nem is hittük hogy Görögországban vagyunk, a hely szépsége,a Kaukázusra és helyenként az Alapokra hasonlított. A meredek lejtőkre épült falvak, hajmeresztő helyeken vannak, azok is kiábrándító tájakat tártak elénk. Leírhatatlan érzés volt számunkra. Tartsatok velünk 👌👍!!

Yes, it was a beautiful day. It seemed like a long day, we went to a lot of beautiful places, we went up this incredible pass, we saw snow and it was incredible to me that we were riding a motorbike in Greece. It was a scary storm, but we made it through. I would love to go back there again any time.❤
We had a really long day, but it was divine. Those lakes, riding with the Hellas Rally raid bikers, the stone bridge, seeing the snowy peaks of the mountains and crossing the Baros Pass and discover the small Greek villages will remain a unique experience for us.

Mă bucur că v-au plăcut locurile pe unde am fost. Nici noi nu am crezut că există munți cu piscuri înzăpezite în Grecia, ce semănau cu Alpii. Am fost fascinați de frumusețea peisajelor ❤😊!
