- I realized I made a mistake, the Advanced Comfort version of these jeans is 70% cotton, 29% polyester, and 1% spandex. I also didn't mention the country of origin for these jeans. The Advanced Comfort and Quilted Lined are made in Mexico, but the Standard ones are made in Mexico with US fabric. Finally, I also wanted to say that part of the reason I got these jeans was because of @ProjectFarm 's jean comparison video. Anyways, this is just a basic comparison and overview of my Wrangler Riggs Workwear 5 Pocket Jeans in 3 different styles (Standard, Advanced Comfort, and Quilted Lined). I got mine at Menards.

Good review, I’ll be buying at least one pair. Big pockets are pretty cool. Project farm tested them out and they rocked.
These aren't the exact jeans he tested, but I do love them. I believe the model he reviewed was the Carpenter version which are about 39 dollars and have a back pocket reinforcement.
If you like the pocket cover. Some carhartt rip stop pants come with it too
I may have to try them sometime as well
Which Leatherman is that? Wave? Surge? I have a Surge but I'm considering switching to the Wave to save some weight. Maybe you already carry something else on your left hip such as a firearm but personally I like to balance out the weight by putting lesser used items on the other hip. For example pocket knife on the right and flashlight on the left. It seems like a bad idea to me to have extra weight on one side over the long term because of how it will affect the muscles, joints, walking gait etc.
It is a Wave+. I have thought about switching to the Surge oddly for more full-size tools. You make an interesting point about keeping the weight balanced. I never really considered that, but the main reason I keep everything on the right for now is that it is easy to reach. I may experiment with changing it up though in the future.
@@railroadsniper Thanks for the response. Another thing is not to keep a wallet or similar bulky item in your back pocket because then you're always sitting on a tilt which is bad for your back.
I was thinking of getting the Wave+. The Surge is really great just pretty big and heavy.
Dickies carpenter jeans are as good too
I do love the canvas ones, I'll have to try the jeans sometime
