Formed in 1980, ONO is a Chicago-based avant-gospel industrial noise band and performance project anchored by P. Michael Ono and Travis. At the beginning of their career, ONO released a pair of albums on Thermidor Records out of San Francisco-Machines That Kill People (1982) and Ennui (1986). Following a lengthy hiatus, ONO returned with full-length releases on Moniker Records, including Albino (2012), Diegesis (2014) and Spooks (2015).
