Sticking to the left seems to be a good way to avoid bullets in the reverse parsecs, hmm. Also, I want to see if that hidden ship you got in the first stage is also available in the NES version of Gaplus that was recently released.
Please try this with the new GP7 version of Gaplus I had submitted to MAME (just published.) The enemies that start at level 11 here come out at level 4 on it. It also waits to give you the first bonus stage until later in the game. :)
on parsec 1, i noticed this player did not shoot during enemy formation, and then shot the 2nd enemy on the bottom row, making a S with a flag appear, and the ship changed to a fast firing ship for the rest of the game. is this a hack? or what is it exactly?
Your strategy is exactly like mine was (and my friend Robert) EXCEPT you're better at handling the cluster f---- moments just a little bit more, but enough for you to play endlessly. I notice you also die a lot on stages after challenging stages. I do too. I hated those. Then you lose all your power ups and have to get double shots and collect again...
I recently learned that younger people dislike the videos, no matter what, if they have a long commercial before the actual video starts. The logic behind it it’s a mistery to me 🤔
