Foresty, you are such a "natural" when making videos. No one captures the beauty of the land like you do. I could look at those scenes all day. Thank you!
Easily my favorite UA-cam Channel. Beautiful, inspirational and incredibly impressive. Foresty, you are a rare breed, a thoroughly decent human. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

Good to have a dog in a moment like that! There is one grizzly around Nancy Greene provincial park in the kootenays that is very territorial & doesn't mess around...
Superb cinematograpy and editing once again, Foresty! This is definitely God's country! Can't believe that you have published three full length videos in the last nine days. I suspect that being back home in Canada, plus the beautiful spring weather is agreeing with you! I'm lovin' it!!
"42kms in a day, I'm getting close to 40, I don't know if I have that kind of energy anymore" .. Foresty is NBA levels of low-key bragging and its so well deserved. You are a beast what can I say lol
It is possible. When I was 16 I climbed 10,400’ Glacier Peak from base Camp at 5000’, then ran 15 miles out to the trailhead at 1000’. My overnight pack and climbing gear weighed about 40 pounds. I was totally tapped out by the end. Roman legions would march as far as 35 miles in a day carrying weapons. People can be very strong and determined if motivated.
@Foresty Forest With all due respect, me and my wife love your vids, and I've been on many 100-mile bike rides and hikes, and I'm amazed at what you and Rocco accomplish. My last hike to Mount Whitney was a day trip, but it was a fraction of what you were able to accomplish, so I had to ask. We're 60 now, so I'll just have to admit that you younger guys are able to pull off things that I never could've done or even conceived of doing. Peace and love...
@Fellowship of the Mystery I think he was looking back and laughing at the thought of doing it now.... realizing he's an old man now and couldn't lol.... I think he was impressed with himself. His younger more vibrant self lol. At least that's how I took it.
Thank you for everything you do Foresty. You inspire people to get out, to go further, to give in to wanderlust if just for a little while. I appreciate you are still out here making videos. I know it hasn't been easy all the time. But keep up if and when you can. We appreciate you.
You hang out in some pretty awesome places, man! You and Rocko are a perfectly matched pair. Glad to see you two out there just having fun! Thanks for sharing.
You're a lucky man! Thank you for taking me along with you. I'm a quadriplegic in a wheelchair and you are the closest I will ever come to climbing a mountain. Keep the awesome videos coming! ♥️👍
Every time I fly from Portland to Edmonton I always think about you and Rocko, being down there summating a mountain below me. Such a cool thing you do. 🤘❤️🤘
Great video, I am an older man who does my share of long distance pack backpacking and two year ago I started taking my dog Maggie and all I can say she had been the greatest of joys on the trail. When I watch your videos I see the tight bound you two have. It’s a beautiful thing. Take care
Thank you Foresty for reminder us that we are absolutely spoiled here in BC. We often take all of this for granted but you are a constant reminder of how lucky we are to be in a special part of the world like this. Thank you for sharing your adventures, the beautiful scenery that most of us don't see, and above all thank you for the hard work with these amazing videos. Hope to see you in the Kootenays one day

Of the nearly one hundred YT channels I subscribe to, there are only two which receive an almost instant "thumbs up" (deservingly so and because I don't want to forget). The two channels are Foresty Forest and Itchy Boots. Always excellent videos. True adventurers.
Loved everything about this video; from the music to the scenery to Mz Rocko instilling great fear in that bear! I hear that bears ride bikes in the circus so be careful. 😁😄😂🤣 ✌️❤️🐾👣
He finds viewers organically, doesn’t insert politics, doesn’t click bait, and has never had a Kardashian on. And ironically most important: produces fantastic content. It almost like PBS 40 years ago. It is why I’ve started giving him money after every video. Guy is a treasure.
Love your low key approach to all you do. Trail maintenance, super drone enhancements, loving dad to Rocko, all presented like a friendly, down to earth guy. Rocko's shoulder muscles make her look like she works out with the pit bulls (compliment intended). Stay just as you are, we look forward to seeing you. Blessings 😊

Simon, age 40 is a false summit. I still look forward to your videos every week, and hope you keep at it, but don’t fall into the trap of “I’m x age, therefore I can’t achieve this goal.” You’re doing an amazing job of mitigating the challenges, and showing us flatlanders how it’s done. The Canadian Rockies are so beautiful. I’m going to have to point my toes that way soon and see some of them myself.
Yep, at 68 I rode half of the Great Divide Mtn Bike Route. Bike toured twice across the U.S. since retiring. It does get harder, and I do get slower, but like my father used to say, "Keep moving or they'll start shoveling dirt in your face."
I look at a mountaineering UA-cam channel called "Alan Arnette", and he successfully climbed the famous Pakistani mountain K2 when he was 58 years old! I think that Foresty is just getting started! How wonderful, another Forestry and Rocko video this week. Beautiful scenes and so beautifully shot. Thank you for all you do.
