      i am a CCF army cadet, and i would send most of those cadets to re do the basic drill course
      at least twice

    Take it easy on them, they have joined something meaningful 👍rather than engaging in anti social behaviour. They have time to improve on their basic drill movements.

    I’m assuming these guys were in their first few weeks or months based on their level of training. The right hand marker is definitely the most experienced

      These are kids. Generally between 13 and 18.

      @@contactlight8079 I’m not sure what part of my comment may have led to you believing I was annoyed by your comment but I’ll apologise anyway. I have been in the cadets for over 3 years and I can say that it doesn’t matter how old you are when you join, it matters how much experience you have in the cadets. And that those in this video were likely either at the beginning of their stent or were on a camp where they hadn’t trained for a while.

    They need to remember THE KNEE BENT POSITION AND NO HORSE KICKING this is painful BUT
    Probs for giving it a try drill isn’t easy just gotta keep practicing I do drill every night before bed

    They are ALL DONKEY KICKING! They are meant to use their own shoulder height when dressing and they are moving a little bit fast when marching, in the last shot the girl in second rank was out of step.
    That was painful.

      I was an Army Cadet from 1972 to 1977. I went on, to join the British Army and serve for 23 years.
      Seen lots of negative comments with regards to this video. Such a shame!😥
      These youngsters are doing something POSITIVE. Their drill will get better with practice and confidence.
      I wish these youngsters all the best on gheir chosen path. The Cadet Force gave me the values & discipline that i practice today. I'm nearly 64 and i remember with great fondness, my time in the Cadets.👍👍🤜🤜🥰🥰

    a few problems, 2-4 of these cadets aren't confident enough to stomp their feet when closing open file. open file is for inspections usually and doing that on your turnout would be horrendous.
    (i don't see any badges so these lot are probably basic.)
    we're not air cadets, don't put your arm out when catching your dressings
    as my Sergeant would say "how long has your arm been there"
    marching was good, but the halt was sloppy, don't know if you lot do "step, check, halt" but i'm 90% sure that's correct for all units.

    They are swinging their body to turn.... makes it look very unclean.... if they focus on using their feet to rotate them it will be 🔥🔥

      Nah that’s bs, turnings are literally the first lesson and we almost always do them in 3 ranks.

      @@DreadEnder The command changes depending on how many ranks there are, "in file" is for 1 rank, "in twos" is for 2 ranks and "in threes" is for 3 ranks

      @@stapled6764 and detail for one to three people, parade at the start and end of the day for a detachment and wherever your on parade on a camp, company if a whole company is there and county on remembrance or if for some reason the whole county is there.

      Стоит. Дисциплина , новые знакомые, время не занимает много, не требует особых затрат .
      Минусов не наблюдаю

    As a sea cadet….
    This is extremely painful to watch….
    I see that they do not react when the sergeant says “HALT!”,
    most of them even hesitate to do the actions!

      You have to do 2 paces and then halt after they say the word “Halt” in the Army Cadet Force.
      Usually remembered and commonly practiced by saying “Check 1 2”

      These people are clearly new and have time to learn.
      And it takes 2 paces to stop, The halt was actually the best movement they did here.

    Please tell me they are basics, and the instructor is a PI, cos that was shocking! And why is what appears to be the DC, standing there chatting during drill? Da fuk?! Your cadets and PI's reflect YOUR leadership and teaching skills, something you are taught on your AITC ffs! If this is the standard now, I'm glad I left! 👀🤦🏼‍♀️
