Ryan told a story that he proposed to the studio that he would get an A list actor to make a cameo, but he would make them invisible. Brad Pitt did the part for a cup of coffee.

Hey I get to be the "actually" guy for a change, but only because I find it interesting.You're partly right.
The Screen actors guild has some dumb rules and he would have did it for free if he was allowed to. SAG members have a minimum wage so he has to be paid. He agreed to the minimum, and a cup of coffee.
The only reason I know this is cause I remember hearing about the minimum on a podcast hosted by a friend of Brad Pitt. Brad has friends he would like to do work for including the Podcaster but cant because the SAG demands he be paid, and the minimum is like 1,000$ a day which is prohibitive to a lot of people. Brad was going to do the weather report for the show but ended up not being able to.

There was a tv show here in the UK called 'Lucky Man'. It had the exact same theme. He was lucky in everything, but everyone around him was screwed.
So how did they catch old good Juggy in the first place ? There is no neck apparatus that stays on his helmet and there is no heros that can stop him .
In comics juggernaut was beaten only once , by Spiderman , who drowns Juggernaut in concrete on a construction site , of course Juggernaut escapes that too .

And he was beaten in the comics by many. Professor X, Spiderman, Wolverine, Wonder Women, Jane Gray, Thor, Onslaught and others.
The Hulk could stop Juggernauts charge and was able to one-punch down him. ( In World War Hulk storyline )

...I just checked, and no, that's not a thing. _Black Cat_ had that side effect to her power, though. Domino's side effect is that she has to take action for her luck to work - she can't just stand still and expect it to go well for her. But she doesn't take luck from others - Black Cat did.
Generally accepted answer to the regeneration quandary: Wade's body has an "alpha cell" that controls the regeneration, so which ever part of him contains that cell when dismembered will be the one to regenerate. Same concept can be applied to Wolverine. Hope that helps!
In the comics you also get to see a version of Deadpool made up of parts that were chopped off other Deadpools.
in general, usually its his mouth that he regenerates around: so he can always give commentary and wisecracks.
But one time in the comics only his one hand was left, which he regenerated from, so there must be an additional rule, or?

Fun Fact: The reason they could get the New Age X-Men to cameo was because they were filming on a nearby lot and everyone thought it would be funny to have them in the movie!
Their cameo could also imply that the events of this film take place after Dark Phoenix, since Jean and Mystique are missing.

In the comics, Deadpool has two daughters. One has a similar healing superpower, the other is half-daemon.
Cable is the son of Jean Grey and Scott Summers. He doesn't use his telekinesis much because he needs to use it solely to prevent a techno-virus consuming his flesh.
Juggernaught is the step-brother of Professor Xavier, something that wasn't used in X-3 but is a decent part of their characters. Also, he's not a mutant, his power comes from an Elder God-like being known as Cyttorrak, whose name you may recognise from Dr Strange.

Technically Cable is a son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey's clone). Cable was infected by techno-organic virus and sent into a possible future. Then minds of Scott and Jean were sent to the future by Rachel Summers (Scott's and Jean's daughter from another timeline) to raise him. When he was adult went to the present some years before he was actually born.

This movie kicks so much ass lmao Ryan Reynolds is incredibly brilliant at referencing and making fun of related superhero movies, and all the swearing and flippant, tongue-in-cheek one-liners are absolutely refreshing. Not to mention the high-octane, original action. Awesome reaction guys🍻

I loved the references to The Goonies; one of Josh Brolin's (Cable) most famous movies. Deadpool refers to Cable as One Eyed Willy; the pirate whose treasure the Goonies are after, and the shirt Deadpool wears is the same type of shirt Chunk wears in The Goonies.
It's not just the same type of shirt as Chunk it's the exact same pattern.
I never though a DEADPOOL would genuinely make me tear up but here we are. Also, I love Matt Damon taking cameos in Thor and this film. So hilarious.

I saw a different version in cinema. His reunion with Vanessa in the afterlife had "Take On Me" by A-Ha playing on acoustic guitar, which made it even more emotional somehow. Also, instead of "Too late~", as a reply to Deadpool's "Don't fuck Elvis" statement, she says: "Don't fuck Colossus~", which is way funnier imo. Bless this movie
Josh Brolin actually said he regrets his performance in this movie.
He previously knew nothing about the character of Cable. After the film came out he said he had since gone back and read a bunch of Xmen comics to learn more about him. He said he'd wished he'd done it beforehand because he would have portrayed him differently.

Deadpool & Cable were such a great Marvel Comics series. Unexpected union of a grizzled war veteran who came back to the past to save the world from his dark future and his absolute counterpart. There was actually some interesting deep relationship between them, like Deadpool finding moral compass in Cable; something worth believing in and fighting for.
Love the cameos and story in this one. It was a fun, little romp with a time travel angle.
I didn't realize Keira Knightly played Thanos.

The two hicks in the pickup truck when Cable arrives were played by Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk
6:44 I believe that at one point in the comics, there was actually a villainous Deadpool who was basically all the sewn-together body parts that the real Deadpool had lost. I think the story was poking fun at the Clone Saga in the Spider-Man comics, in which a supervillain clones Peter Parker, and there's a lot of ambiguity about which Peter was the "real" Spider-Man. The Clone Saga was heavily derided by fans because the story went on for too long and was too confusing, which made it an ample target for Deadpool to lampoon.
Then, again, both could be referencing the Horror MANGA character "Tomie" created by Junjie Ito.
I literally paused the video, checked my audio settings, and cycled my speakers because of that intro.

It’s amazing how many versions of this movie exist. Every time i watch it on different streaming services there are so many new to me scenes. Can’t wait for part 3.
The look on George’s face to what Simone had said/done something was so hilarious. From the start to how worried Simone was that Deadpool and Baccarin had broken up. George has some great expressions/reactions (as does Simone).

Once Christmas time rolls around, you should consider watching "Once Upon a Deadpool". It's essentially a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2 but with a whole new subplot featuring Fred Savage. It does also bring up the issue of multiple Deadpools growing back.
Honestly didn't notice a big difference between that and this version ... Savage scenes aside :)

The moment when Wade is trying to deflect Cable's bullets with his swords is a reference to his portrayal of Deadpool in the Wolverine movie, which was more or less a disaster.
This is fascinating... your version of Deadpool is _noticeably_ different from the version that I've seen here in America. Several of the jokes are changed, and there are extra scenes. Like, all of the scenes with Russel at the school before the scene outside where he meets Deadpool are all new to me.

If you combine limbs chopped off from Deadpool, they will regenerate a head and usually becomes a villain. Most of the time though a limb won't grow unattached to its original position, given that his head is still attached.

Such a great watch. Simones reactions are always something to look forward too, and Georges technical thoughts on the movies (when he has them) are usually intriguing to listen to.
Deadpool movies are really fun love Deadpool 2 so much more than Deadpool 1 a movie i enjoyed but don't have the need to rewatch it. This was also around the time of the Thano's movies Infinity War and Endgame so there's of course alot of MCU nods making nod to the MCU rather than the characters within the universe, no doubt no one Deadpool is chatting to knows about Thano's or Hawkeye as they just don't exist in this world. It's also confirmed that Deadpool 3 will be an MCU film and that Deadpool will cross over into the MCU at some points.
Nathan Summers also known as Cable is such a cool character. In the comic's he's the son of Madelyne Pryor, a clone of Jean Grey created by Mister Sinister, yes that's his actual supervillain name. Sinister then had Pryor seduce Cyclops (Scott Summers) in order to conceive a child that he believed would be a phenomenally powerful mutant.
The scene when Wade in Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters showing the 1980s X-Men rendition of the X-Men in a room behind Wade only for Beast to close the door. This doesn't fit the timeline at all as by Deadpool these characters would've been much older.
Between these three decades non of the characters age with many of them being in their 50s but still look like young adults. They don't even get close to what they look like by the 2000s with the first X-Men movie unless between 1990 and 2000 all these characters aged like mad. Could see that scene being a funny little nod at how the continuity of the X-Men movies are all over the place they just brought in any version of the characters lol
Surprised they were even allowed to mention Hawkeye and Captain America as he's owned by Disney not Fox. Disney of course were in talks about buying 20th Century Fox so I wouldn't be surprised if a deal was made between Disney and Fox for Deadpool to mention characters such as Hawkeye and Thano's even if they're not characters within this Fox X-Men universe. But hey in Spider-Man 1 Aunt May mentioned Superman so I have no idea lol
20:27 This is such a good rendition of the character from the comic's. Cain Marko is a regular human who was empowered by a gem belonging to the deity Cyttorak, becoming a literal human juggernaut. Funny enough even though he first appeared in the X-Men comic's and was a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants Cain Marko isnt a Mutant as he got his powers from gem not by Mutations.
30:26 So this was X-Men Origins which depicted a very different Deadpool. Fans hated this version plus he movie overall is just awful but this moment pissed alot of people off lol Wade going back or into a different universe to kill his younger self who became Deadpool in the past before he did in the Deadpool versions!!! Very messy timeline.

Expo 86 shirt, nice call out. An Easter egg of sorts for people who were there at the time. I don't have the shirt anymore, but even if I did it wouldn't fit. I still have the Expo 86 Swatch watch though, and the Archie comic book tie in.

I like this better than the first one. Domino and Cable were awesome. The kid was a good storyline. But when Deadpool was shirt-cockin it I was laughing so hard I was sideways in my seat. I am pissed there has not been a Deadpool 3 or X-Force movie yet. I watched a behind the scenes of the movie "Capricorn One" and there was a 10 year old Josh Brolin watching his Dad dive through a window escaping the bad guys. It was cute later his Dad asked Josh if he was scared. He said no it was cool! I was a huge fan of James Brolin when I was a kid. He was a badass, always playing the cool guy. Even Pee-Wee Herman had James Brolin play him in a movie of his life-story. Lol. Now I a big fan of his son.
