I've been a copper repousse artist for many years... Originally I sought images from Rodin, Michaelangelo, the Louvre, Scandinavia and, and graveyards like those in NY, North Jersey, Paris and the American South. I practiced the Art nouveau of women in all sorts of mediums to practice my art!! The lines are stellar...maybe unimaginable....like wisps of smoke with the refractive quality of the gemstones added!!!! You have given me so much to add to my knowledge!!!!! Thank you Jason!!!!
Thank you for showing these amazing pieces Jason. This truly is one of the most beautiful periods for design in every medium. I needed your smile today. They have determined that Richard is not strong enough to live at home anymore. They are arranging a placement for him in a very good palliative care facility, and will be keeping him in the hospital until they have a bed. I am trying to be strong, but this is so hard. I love you.❤️🖤🇨🇦
Thank you! I just found you and subscribed… I’m learning so much from you and I am a collector of vintage brooches and cameos, some necklaces. I’m working on it! Like you, I buy what I like. I’m looking forward to future videos and continue to learn about these beautiful pieces of art that make life beautiful! 🕊️
I have the exact same tray! She's absolutely lovely, isn't she? I adore your channel and I remember you mentioning you starting your collecting when you were quite young in a few of your videos and how you were the kid who stood out; that makes me so happy to hear because I have the same love for collecting antique jewelry and tchotchkes (thanks mom for getting me hooked) and I'm barely 20. It makes me feel seen and validated and it makes me love this hobby all the more. Your channel is such a joy to watch :3
Hi sweetheart. Thanks for joining in! The mermaid tray is outstanding! ❤ it is refreshing to hear of a young person who is collecting and appreciating our history!!! I really appreciate you! Thank you for watching ❤️
Just popping in for the first time after watching you right from the beginning to say that I really particularly enjoyed this video because Art Nouveau is my jam. I'm glad you mentioned the book about Art Nouveau jewelry - I bought that at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and it is the most complete book on the subject as you have said. I've also seen a great exhibition last September on Art Nouveau jewelry at the École des Arts Joailliers in Paris with many René Lalique pieces but also jewelry made by other great artists; they produced a great catalogue for that which is comparable to Becker's book. And talking of the École des Arts Joailliers, they have a great channel on UA-cam where they have live conferences and in-debt presentations of their exhibitions, so you'll be able to virtually visit this Art Nouveau jewelry exhibition I mentioned, but also all the other ones that have so far been organized by the school (all their videos are both in French and English). Thanks again for the great content and sharing your most amazing collection ❤ P.S. If you ever come to France... 😊
Great resources! I am a beginner in collecting and reselling jewelry and antique and I find your videos super educative, information a ton and super entertaining .Thank you Jason!
Stunning bleeding hearts brooches!!! 💕 art Nouveau just a stunning era!! Your collections are amazing, your knowledge is priceless and passion for educating us is so appreciated!
Oh Jason, the poppy vase nearly knocked me out of my chair ...Dying over it! What a stunner! I fully agree with you about not polishing silver...the little perfume bottle is so lovely. The Art Nouveau period has always inspired since I was in high school. Thank you, thank you for sharing your treasures with us! Love, love, love! Oh my word, the poppy brooch!!! Those face brooches are astounding!!! I am literally drooling and breathless over this video...I am rarely ever rendered speechless, however, I must admit, I am often stunned speechless by your videos! The mermaid tray...!!! and the Suffragette necklace...I have never heard of them...how cool! (P.S. I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to argue with you and your knowledge!) Thank you!!!
🌈♥️Kristin.....thank you so much! I can relate....Art Nouveau is simply beautiful! Thank you for being here and thank you for your kindness.... your support means so much to me......🌈♥️😅♥️🌈♥️🙏🙏🙏
Jason what a fabulous video and stunning jewelry! I think I loved everything but the blue berries necklace is my favorite and the sterling brooches too! Thank you so much for these wonderful videos!
I got so excited watching this because it made me realise that a $4 thrift shop purchase I made is likely genuine art nouveau! Thank you for a great video, this is my favourite era because it looks like it’s crafted by elves!
Wow! Utterly blown away by Art Nouveau and your lovely collection.... I went to Brussels a couple of years back and in the lowest floor of their museum was the most incredible art nouveau collection of everything from glassware to furniture to jewellery - I was in heaven!
I didn’t know about the secret necklace,ty for teaching! Now I have to go on a deep dive to learn more! This is why I love you and your channel! Not just the most exquisite examples but, the stories and point of views and the teaching and sharing! TU again! I have some things you’d love to see! 🎉❤😊
Jason, I think you are the person that could help me identify 2 pieces that I have recently acquired!🤗 Do you help others by chance?🙏🏻 TYSM for sharing your absolutely STUNNING jewelry!!💞💞💞
Totally agree Jason. I have FB page about Neiger Jewellery. So many people want to correct and show how smart they are contradicting ones carefully chosen posts. Instead of luxuriating in my collection and the genius of Neiger Brothers design. Thank you for sharing your collections and vast precious knowledge. xxxxx
Thank you... I cannot stomach the online forums.. EVERYONE IS AN EXPERT....lol....drives me nuts. Lol. I stay in my lane unless someone comes for me. Lol 🌈❤️ appreciate your comment and support!
Hi Jason. I have a pendant in my ebay store, stamped with older font for the metal. But it’s the construction of the piece that always gets me! I don’t know even a fraction of what you know, but I know this pendant is different. It a basket loaded with seed pearls on 14k yellow gold. I guess it wouldn’t be Art Nouveau period but what can it be? It’s got to be close to 100 years old. I’ll keep researching. As for video content, I love anything you show or talk about. Absolutley anything! Loved when you said, “I don’t know why everyone wants to correct everyone so much?! Let’s just enjoy.” I say, Amen! ❤❤❤
Hi Jason! ❤❤❤ I feel like every time I commend on one of your videos, I say, "this video was such a treat!" But it's always true, and they always are. As a huge fan of Art Nouveau (and Pre-Raphaelites and William Morris and that whole era,) I'm just so excited to know you've got more videos coming about this era! Can't wait for more! Thank you! OH! And the pieces you shared today made me think of the Elvish jewelry in Lord of the Rings! The costume designer must have drawn inspiration from pieces like these; the fibulas the hobbits wear on their shawls; that gorgeous silver necklace Liv Tyler's character wears... I could gaze at these all day long. Thanks again! I absolutely love you, too! And Kenly always loves your shout outs, almost as much as I do. 👽❤❤❤💖💖💖
Could you do videos on makers marks and how YOU find the makers and give us a good, clear look at the mark's? And what's the difference between art neuvo and art deco? I can't tell the difference. You are beautiful and we all love you right back Jason! 😘 Thank you for sharing your brain with us! 😊
Jason thank you for this information you share i absolutely love learning about jewellery and i love how you explain everything. You certainly have a love for it I can hear it in your voice you live and breathe this . Would not want to learn from anyone else. Thanks again sending love from Australia
Oh Jason, how I love art nouveau! My favorites are the Krementz brooches and all of the necklaces. I’m so sorry to tell you that I detest anything with snakes. I wouldn’t care if they were solid platinum. I even find them hard to look at! I know it sounds unreasonable but that’s how I feel. That being said, I so appreciate your expertise. I also found the pins and brooches very interesting. Thank you for all of your work and enthusiasm. You are a wonderful teacher. 💖 Veronica
Love the video and always appreciate the book recommendations. Never knew what the suffragette stones stood for, just always associated it with green and violet. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Have a lovely day too! 😊💚🤍💜
Love it all but, anything with a face on it tugs at my heartstrings! I might be alone in this but, I don’t mind a little dent or age issues on my stuff. But, the flowers too!! I love art!! Make. My heart 🎶
Loved all the treasures today. Don't work too hard Creamcheese Wonton! Was worried about you guys & the tornados the other night. Glad you're ok. Luv & hugs!! 💖🥠
Jason, just discovered your Chanel. Very interesting , enjoyable and informative.. I would suggest that your damaged enamel brooch is Oscar Wilde, particularly with the yellow flower he is wearing. Keep up the good work
Thank you for the kind acknowledgment. I am not an expert in that period but there was a whole Gilbert and Sullivan inspired , satire of aesthetic values, ‘Greenery Yallerly’ which you can Google and a famous Minton teapot with a limp waisted young man, and given that the brooch was a fashion piece rather than fine jewellery and the huge popularity of Oscar Wilde before his trial. I think it references that and the Grosvenor gallery. Just to add as a Jewellery collector of 30+ years I enjoy your informative and very personal approach very much. 100% better than another love bracelet or Alhambra unboxing, or the dreaded pearls are expensive and go with everything video
Love the natural flow of art nouveau. Thank you for sharing so many beautiful examples and the knowledge about them. All very beautiful, but the poppy brooch was amazing!
Jason, Omg I LOVE that mistletoe perfume bottle!! I am drawn to Edwardian, Art Deco jewelry BUT….. I absolutely love all jewelry and just started collecting recently. Love your energy!! TYSM for teaching us all you know. I appreciate you🤗

Belgium has some very beautiful examples of Art Nouveau buildings such as doorways, facades, stairways, personal homes and libraries!!!!!
The faces on the hollow sterling pins were lovely

Dear Jason, That orchid is an iris and it is beautiful. Is it possible that the enameled person could be Oscar Wilde.
