    If you have ever had a tostada in the past, then you know, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to flavors and options. Tostadas can be topped with so many delicious ingredients that it would be hard to name them all. In this video I want to share with you the beauty of mastering how a tostada is made, then, you can have the freedom of what to top it off with. Tostadas raspadas uses a very interesting technique I came across when visiting Jalisco, Mexico.

    I love all the culture of the world. If I could live for a million years I would love to live for a time every place. Get to know the history, the people, the food...it is an amazing education.

    I'm so happy I found ur channel I'm making the pozole verde de pollo with these likebu suggested. I'm white and my husband is Mexican and native amaerican. I been teaching myself to make authentic foods. They have all turned out amazing.

    Para salar la tostada la forma en la que la hacemos en casa aquí en Jalisco es hacer una agua suficiente salada, cuando sacas la tostada del aceite aún caliente le rocias el agua salsa y así toma sabor, que ya la sal en grano no se incorporará de la misma forma. Además que el contacto con la superficie caliente creará más burbujas y la tostada será más crujiente...

    I'm wondering if I can make tostadas in a dehydrating machine or just oven bake them so they crunchy without the added oil and it still tastes good 🤔
