The theme is really on point with the vibe for february. Also glad about your interpretation of the theme, because seriously even with the more open minded society, we still lack a lot.
First time hearing of the coquette aesthetic but I love it. As a kid i also felt that liking pink and being girly was childish and cringe, but now im in a girl’s school i can feel more comfortable being more girly and being myself. Also I was actually kinda close in my guess of light/classic academia. Thanks for the vid amanda!

I have half this stuff in my February weekly spreads! I had a sticker collection I wanted to use, but it has a bunch of other stuff like clocks and an old British telephone box, but also, bunnies, tea cups, mirrors, etc. I went for a more vintage travel look. However, I've already been thinking ahead to March and I've literally been sorting through lace scraps and thinking about using them for the first time!
The theme was really adorable and I like hearing a bit about the history of the aesthetic. I love the hoodie design and hope I'll be able to buy one.

This is lovely. I enjoyed it and connect with the 80's elements of romance. Now I have to watch the classic "Pretty in Pink" again. It captures all of the romantic images you describe; feminine, romantic, and true to yourself, along with a killer soundtrack. IF you haven't seen it, it's a "MUST SEE".
