I really like the information you give out about upcoming model shows. I try my best to make it to shows that are around 3 hours from my house. Nice Mercury pickup truck. I have one on pre-order from Wes’s Model Car Corner. I also have pre-ordered two of the new wrecker trucks too. Thanks for sharing.

Great shout outs (not sure if that is proper) for upcoming shows. Going to a show in Huntsville, Ala. next week and then we will be at ACME in October. Love that Mercury M100 kit.

My first car was a 1974 Mercury Comet two door. I painted it as close to Petty blue that i could get.

I use Tamiya Polyester putty. It’s two part and I have good results 🥳. Bondo is good and easier to get. Sometimes put a drop of cheap lacquer thinner in it.
Moebius makes nice kits👍👏👏. I’m partially done with 72 Ford high boy it’s well molded.😁

Wow! One of these days I'll have to add a Mobius kit to my stash. I'll be attending ACME this year (my first time). Even managed to get a room at the host hotel for two nights. Now I just gotta get my Boss 351 diorama built! Peace and love.

I used to use a putty called "Dr Microtools" putty. I was great - but then it disappeared - out of business it seems. So I switched to the Tamiya white putty and that works great too. I tried Squadron putty (the green one) for a time in the 1980s but over time it would melt the plastic where it was used it on a model. So I had to stop using it. But you will like the Tamiya one.

I have all those junk putties---I use Evercoat glazing putty or JB WEld -it's cheap and works -not the Kwik set stuff use the regular stuff--I'm 68 and have used all the putties out there

@@MarkBatsonHobbydude007 here's trick with JB WELD-when it starts setting up-dip your finger in lacquer thinner and smooth the JB WELD before it hardens
