HOW-TO: Side Pocket Folds on Valley Style Pool Table Cushions

  • The King Cobra method for folding the side pockets on a valley table. This will help prevent the cloth wearing down and exposure of the cushion with wear and tear and distorting the profile of the pocket.

    Thankyou for doing this channel. I'm teaching myself how to do this for my dad. We have a 9ft American heritage tournament table with the tightened up pockets.
    Would you do everything the same way?

      Those rails require a feather strip to hold the cloth tucked into the feather strip dado, which means you must wrap the cloth around the cushions, and the ends of the rails. Valley style rails are detachable, which means you can wrap the cloth around the back side of the rails and get rid of the excess cloth behind the cushion block. You can't do no fold side pockets on feather stripped rails.
