I WAS THE FIRST DJ TO BEGIN PLAYING THIS MATERIAL IN ALBANY,GA. I KNEW FROM THE MOMENT I FIRST HEARD THESE GUYS AT FLOYDS IN TALLY THAT THESE GUIYS WERE GOING PLACES. WE GAVE THEM HEAVEY AIR PLAY..97.3 THE FOXX. THEY EVEN GAVE US CREDIT IN THE CD JACKET.
I was just thinking like a couple weeks ago that I kinda wanna be a DJ because I like music a lot. And I introduce friends to rock songs they like all the time
Josh, the bass player messaged me on Napster after I downloaded this song. I told him I loved the song! Geez, I’m old, this was back in 2000. Still a fan!
Me too, I remember finding this on Napster back in the day, it was labelled as Deftones_Glassjaw_Tool - Hover. This band were far better off in their 41 down days, didn't really like their stuff too much when they became TRUSTcompany.
@@svendav6702 agreed. The demo versions of all their songs are way better than the major release. Absolutely love this version of Hover and drop to zero demo is unreal!
@@teamjawbox I like both versions but the recording is very raw on the demos. I could understand liking the official version better. Quality wise these aren't as good. But I like raw recordings. The OP just may not and it's understandable why
Yeah I love these but the official drop to zero and hover sounds much cleaner and you can understand the lyrics. Just objectively worse recording quality here but hey, every band starts somewhere
@@EviLLivEClan The album destroys as far as clear studio production. But I prefer the result the demo produced. The album version has too many overlays. Hard to argue something subjective like that. If you like the album better, I'm happy for you. Thankfully we have both album and the demo to enjoy.
@@EviLLivEClan I prefer the demo version. Fewer layers of vocals, just more raw overall production. Glad you like the album since both exist we can both be happy.

sorry, but isn't josh the bassist?
@@ynnek163 Yes, correct. He is the bass player. My bad.
@@ozymandias4734 all good, it's so cool that you were able to talk to a member of the band tho :D
Although I like both versions of this song, I can’t deny how raw this version sounds.
This song is special to me.
It's just one of those tracks
It's one of those tracks I always come back to when fall comes aroud. Trust Company owns those fall vibes
fr
I like this arrangement better than the major-labelized version
I searched 22 years for this song.

my favorite band is deftonesglassjawtool
It got me to listen to glassjaw and buy their cd looking for this song
I just realized that the drawing of Jason Singleton looks kind of like an adult version of Stewie from Family Guy. XD
Used to watch these guys play in Prattville AL before they got signed.
Yet the actual band just uploaded it and stated that they actually prefer this demo version...hahaha
I love the cheeky I hover at the end of the verse
Oh the memories
Why the hell do I recognize this one more
Both versions are great in their own way.
I used to listen to the 97.3 when I lived there. I also remember when these guys came to town with 3 Doors Down at the CabStand.
41 Down
RARE as Fuck!!!
You make my day and my life with this version do you have the lyrics?
The instrumentals are pretty good, but the vocals should've been louder and more clear.

The intro reminds me a bit of No Surprises by Radiohead
❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗
41 Down was a lot better than Trust Company
I cant find the lyrics, of this version, anyone?
And now?😅
