My wife sought discomfort and did this with me for our 5th anniversary several years ago. I grew up in Miami, so hate the cold, but had moved to Canada to live with her while she did grad school. I talked about doing a plunge every year, but never went for it. For our anniversary in January, she got a ton of warm gear together, we left the truck running, and we made the dash and dive into Lake Ontario. Special woman for sure!

Daalo Pictures Thomas took part in the Wim Hof method. While he was the most reluctant, everyone including Wim was proud of Thomas’s perseverance and overall dedication. So, in essence, his accomplishment was greater than what they did here 🙂

@@MysteriousBeingOfLight I'm a fatbody. Ordered the largest size on the page (XL), but it wasn't like a normal US XL. My friends give me US XL tees when they visit the States- no problem. The Seek Discomfort shirt I received fits like it was sized for Asians. So it's about three sizes too small. While wearing it would literally be the definition of what it says (and I am trying to lose weight), it's just too small for me to wear comfortably.
I'm not mad at Yes Theory. I don't post this here out of anger- I just want to let other big-bodied people know so they can make an informed decision, especially if they are outside the US because the cost is prohibitive. Only because I love Yes Theory and believe in their message would I ever spend over 50 dollars on a T-shirt.

For once a crack can might get the whole frozen lake to break apart. And hence causing them to fall to their death.
On the other hand, even if they were to just succeed, chances are the current might drive them away once they dive in and carry them away to where all the frozen parts are.

Ice swimming is a every day thing for many people in Finland during winter. You just make a hole on the ice and go for a dip. It is actually healthy, my mom used to do it, and I have tried but I don't doit regularly.
Internet I'm the person who dare Yes theory to do that.. I thought they will not see or if they even see they will skip this dare because it was actually very difficult. Hats off to Yes Theory doing that dare with a smile.😀
