This is the best footage I’ve seen in a long time. What do y’all think?
I think it’s good quality.
It looks awesome ngl.
Btw you should probably pin this-
now i want to go there so bad-
Yes i do agree
I like it and the dedication it’s just the old camera look from Kane pixels version looks more realistic from the like old type
honestly it seems more like the entity is making a cry for help, trapped on limbo with no food really does somethin to a person, poor lad
GD REFERENCE?!?!?!?!!1
ULTRAKILL REFERENCE?!?!?!?!!1
D e a t h
Bro they are trapped in infinite suffering with no escape
IT'S BLUE, IT'S BLUE, IT'S BLUE!
I like that this is actually really unique compared to other backrooms found footage videos because they’re interacting with the environment and it’s good modern quality footage compared to the normal 1980s video camera grainy footage in most fan made found footage videos.
Eh it could be at least a little grainy like maybe 90's or pre-2010 camera.
Also if they managed to get up over the tiles on the roof they would travel to level fun
I’m better than broogli 😂😂😂😂🎉🎉
So unique, one entity who chase them, never see before 🤯
@@Asteriskwaschosen man level fun is the worst level ever isn't even canon and is just "yeah look this level is soooo dangerous right"
Whats crazy is the fact that the entity also had shadows and its fingers was actually moving. Another crazy thing is the way it does not look like a green screen they were touching the walls. 10/10☠
It’s wild bro
one of the most insane things ive seen online. hi broogli 👋

I cannot believe how well they've done with this series. It feels like they are actual genuine people unlike most found footages, where you could tell they are following a script.
If you haven’t already you should really check out “lost in the hyperverse” it’s a fantastic story-like backrooms it’s so well made
Hyperverse's videos will probably always be my favorite ones.
I loved those videos
Been a member for around 2 months in the Hyperverse! Definitely has great story & atmosphere. A more sci-fi fantasy version of the backrooms if you will.
Lost in the hyper verse is insane! They’re so cool and nostalgic feeling
thats my favorite backrooms vids
If that entity is supposed to be the "Howler"/Bacterium, it looks SO good in this. The best model I've ever seen for it. It always looks so cartoonish and ridiculous in everything else.
Good eye. It does look extremely similar to the howler.
Wouldn’t say cartoonish. Would say low res. The black levels are too pushed in all these clips, but it’s great to see real people in the backrooms for once.
It’s a Roofcrawler.
@@spatialtests nah, Howler is just a mess of strings. OG Party Goers? Bone Thieves? To name a few. They're like those little kid drawings you wouldn't even put on the fridge for a day lol
This is a really good fan animations, thank goodness you found it!
The lore was found here
👁👅💥👁
At first, i was expecting something like the typical bacteria monster from kane pixels but instead, they made something that looks alot different and has, yknow, Really good and realistic movement as well as giving their monster it's own unique cry.
It's really good.
Broogli is our bakrooms guy

8:01 bro What was that SCREAM 😂
😂
Bro's A Feral Pig
Pigs in minecraft be like
as a corridor crew VFX artists react enjoyer, i can pick out a few telltale signs of VFX, but overall very good. I also like the way they "found" the backrooms, i heard a story from an obscure thread talking about how this guy found this weird yellow buzzing place in the basement of an abandoned factory. overall 9/10, just wish there was more
yeah sometimes you can see some masking artifacts but its way better than anything i can do
The budget for this must’ve been high. This is like some you’d see in a movie from a theatre. 😳💛
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL SO MUCH THANK YOU FOR COVERING IT!!!
It's not surprising this went viral. It's really well made!
Josh is a master of montage
Once again broogli uploads a banger
Really cool. A couple of tells for masking and keying especially when theres motion blur because those are really difficult to make realistic. I see this has a bunch of cg set extensions and replacements but the parts the characters are interacting with are definitely a set of some kind. The monster was hand animated and impressively so, with hair sims as the cherry on top. Score 9/10 🔥🔥🔥
Lemme just claim my spot real quick!
just saw this on an infinite "scary" video. legit was like. daamnn, where that warehouse at?? crazy vfx by joshvfx
Honestly, this is great! While I do see a few animation errors, they might just be UA-cam quality whatever. I see very few areas where the lighting looks off, but it’s very subtle and I like overexamining stuff
Look, the special affects are good. But I like Kane pixels version more. The VHS style makes it more believable. idk the new one just looks kinda fake ya know?
This is supposed to be the backrooms if it was discovered in 2024 so it's kind of realistic. This one is still good
No, not really.
@@Sprigatitto740 I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s really good. But at the same time (at least too me) it just looks kinda fake?
I watch Kane pixels to
Yeah It's Fake The Real Backrooms Is Under Ford City Mall
Props for being one of the few reaction channels that actually post links and credits in the description
This is crazy... Please keep us updated. I'm really hyped where this series goes
I remember seeing it and being blown away by the video. I legit thought it was irl footage. If the backrooms movie is something like this then we are in for a treat
I’m genuinely surprised by how technology has gone so far that people can make stuff like this especially a couple of young adults. I can’t imagine how long it must take. its mind blowing
Amazing! I can’t wait for somebody get this and start making movies!
Only thing is I wish they get close to cannon as possible! The carpet should be wetish here. And the buzz of the lights
Eh canon is overrated.
Kane pixels backrooms isn't canon to the original backrooms at all either, but it's still amazing
i could easily do this backrooms but with the official files that kane used its rlly easy to do what they did here
Shout out to them for going to the back rooms can’t believe people think it’s CGI
Thank you. You videos help me no-clip out of this disappointing reality.
Broogli, serious question. Would you consider accepting some fan art of your character in your most well known art style to possibly use in a video sometime? I have a few ideas on good expressions
this is Amazing, also hello broogli hope you're having a good day today
Honestly though.
I find this stuff to be 10x better than Kane VFX wise
story wise still belongs to Kane though.
He still takes that section of the department
Yes definitely, story wise he solo’s
A collab would go crazy
Honestly, the videos that these guys made were insanely good. It was super good VFX work, and sure, it might be better than Kane Pixels but both are equally amazing with what they can do. Awesome job guys.
Handsome man holy 👀
Have no idea how it’s being made, it’s actually crazy good quality, hope to see more in movie industry(or maybe it’s already being used a lot?)
Bro is prolly working for Kane
Oh my word that sounds so perfect 🤩 thank goodness for the opportunity to see the backrooms
Thats really good. I hope they continue the series.
hope they decide to make it more longform outside tiktok.
Hey Broogli, would happen to know anything about that one rumor of A-24 (maybe) making a full length big budget backrooms movie?
You can definitely tell where it's edited when you examine it, but my lord is this impressive as hell, and not to mention unique.
Exactly, the uniqueness of it is absurd!
I love it! a little bit better then Kane Pixels 10/10!
Imagine the colab between both of them
Edit: LOVE YOU BROOGLI LOVE YOUR CONTENT
bro the first part made me think of me and my friend while we played escape the backrooms by fancy 💀
We got so used to the animations the first one looks like one. insane how they found it in real life. the lighting is perfect
You found the account i wanted a UA-camr thats famous like you to look at!
5:20 it is an excellent job, the only ever thing i could point out, is that they shouldve compressed darker parts and lower the quality of the rave scene. The pure rendered quality of those parts give it up
The VFX were insane, i hope this guy ends up exploring other levels. Imagine something like this but in the poolrooms or sum.
i think this is actually better than Kane Pixels. The environment looks so realistic and the build up, and how the monster appeared. It all is just perfect. I love it.
This is actually so cool.. I clicked on their tiktok account.. i hope they make more parts its crazyy
8:07 “It’s in pain when it screams, really enjoy that” 💀💀
Bro this is actually insane. I love how they made this, and this is exactly what we want to see from the backrooms community.
Broogli I was about to type your name in my search bar and your video popped up when I was about to press the search bar
What's even crazier, is that they just made a 5TH ONE! You gotta go check it out dude😭
i used to work at a church and on time my cowowrkers daughters wanted to show the basement levels cuz it was creepy, it looked exactly like the backrooms except grey. grey walls and grey carpet and big open ares where you had to walk all the way thru the darkness to access the light switches. it was around 2012 so i didnt think anything of it and didnt have a good enough phone to even get a pic or video and back then we didnt think to wip out our phones to take pictures of mundane stuff like that but i wish i did
These people have made a really good Spider-Man swinging reality.
This is so crazy content and amazing edits and animations
The quality of the VFX is breathtaking. Well done to them. I wouldn't say that these videos are better than Kane Pixels (although they might be), I'd say that it's not the same, it's not the same way of looking at things. Anyway, good little format. Keep up the good work!
Bro remember me team sniffer!
Seems like you could probably build a pretty decent set with a modest budget and make it semi-modular. You'd only need 2 "rooms," and then you could rearrange one room while they're in another (plus you'd want to have 2 rooms so theycould effectively pass through rooms)....i mean look at what they did with Cube and some colored gel-pad things.
I was going to say the exact same thing about Cube before I read the rest of the comment, A small but modular set in a similar vein to that could work very well for this kind of production
I want someone to make a company that is legitimately just a funhouse of backroom levels in real life.
Well @ 3:56 and several other moments if you look closely you can see that slight light border around their clothes, so yeah that's the green screen. If it is even a "green" screen, I could imagine they used another color (a bright yellowish maybe), since you can put any color as chroma, and since most of the environments in the video are yellowish it would make sense. Also the fact that they chose to wear black/grey/white clothes so it's easier to work with. But yeah, I also saw one of the videos via ig recently and yes it's well made indeed and looks real, especially the shadows like you said add a lot. For the ceiling scene you can see the mentioned light-border on his clothes up until the tile-area where his hands are, there you have none, so that's a real tile (probably a white one) where they just overlayed the yellowish ceiling texture in that area.
We end off TikTok with a BANG, I love it
i think thats kaine pixels secret alt
small amount of videos tells me that in the ear
almso the style and music imitates those irl abandoned places exploring videos :D wich is a cool detail
As cool as it is, they definitely need a color corrector. As someone who edits for people for a living, it’s horribly color corrected but the effect of them there is AMAZING. If they had someone color correct it and fix a few of the lighting problems…. It would be movie quality. Also maybe just a better backrooms design, because it looks like the cheesy sonic in the backrooms videos. NOW DONT TAKE THIS AS SERIOUS COMPLAINTS. I’m nitpicking!!! When they push up the ceiling and step in through the door, it looks amazingly real and I’m so impressed of their work. Just figured I’d yap a little since everyone is already praising this amazing series!!
They’re the first and only ones that did this and pretty much flawless
Dudes literally one up-ed Kane Pixels. Kane gave us good backrooms footage with irl people, and these guys had some hidden talent that is now revealed because of Kane!
I'd imagine that they are in a long hallway and similar shaped walls on one side that just happens to be easy for them to key out, and they just created the rest of the background. That would suggest that the shadows are also really there and the ceiling tiles. Just my guess. Usually, the simple answer is the most likely. Still, possibly the best backroom footage ever made.
I seen the youtube short and wanted to see more thx your this video :D
Yea this is chill. Im down for more.
Could definitely be a bit more realistic, especially for the reveal, but this has me amped for the movie.
The backrooms used to scare me. But until one day I was like “ehh that cool” but this brings the nightmares back.
The only critique I could offer is that they seem a little too bright in some shots, like they're not in the same type of light, but otherwise this is phenomenal.
It’s easy to forget that ceiling tiles and carpets are a thing that exist 😜, when they touch the ceiling and their shadows cast on the carpet it’s probably just real!
They’d only have to extend the environment with CG, the walls etc, maybe colour correction.
shadows and lighting are kinda in that uncanny valley area where its SO CLOSE to real but just something aint right
I do agree that it is very impressive to show greenscreen characters in the backrooms, but there's just something about KanePixels that seems so authentic! If they took Kane's found footage and comped in people it would be perfect.
I would've like it more, if they didn't just show the entity completely and more like built up to it, but the effects are nothing short of incredible.
Tbh that was probably a huge prop but 10/10 and they also might have built it sectionally
The whole thing is very well made, but the shadows is a concept that I'm confused about, mainly because my brain is wired to see a silhouette in the shadow at certain angles. The shadows likely do act differently when it comes to multiple lightings, and maybe same with the backrooms. The shadows are very well made, it just seems like some moments have the shadow too faint, but it might just be them standing and the light being focused onto the top of their heads.
Definitely more realistic! Super-talented people! I hope they do more backrooms content!
The entity sounds like a modified and looped version of the B.O.B.S. in the Marathon trilogy.
This is definitely becoming a game
Pretty good stuff, I wouldn't compare them to Kane Pixels personally, they're practically two separate kinds of content aside from sharing a space. Both are awesome in their own right though!
Have you seen the Kane Pixels videos with the abandoned mall? I don't know if it's actually backrooms-related, but it was really cool.
A behind the scenes footage showed that it actually wasnt a green screen they were actually in a warehouse and just got rotobrushed into the cg environment
I have always thought of a movie
about the poolrooms .
A guy go urbex and find a hole in a wall like this but bigger diameter.
He call a
team of 6-8 people which are friends.
They have Tools to meassuring rooms( its use for caves too).
One down with a backpack and the 3D meassuring tool, Filming Equipment.
And a cable conected communication System (you know walkie talkies doesn't work always in caves. Its communication and video livefeed. . In this they found the poolrooms with "Windows" .
I’ve seen this on shorts and thought: „wow that’s really interesting“
Imagine a random post on Twitter by Kane: Hello everyone! Me and JoshVFX are teaming up with BlumHouse and we are going to start filming the backrooms movie!!! *a picture is attached with Josh setting up the green screen*
There so much potential for the backrooms is simple anything can happen good or bad plus the levels are best thing there unique plus the world feel like level game design
I think it would have been a nice touch if we could have seen the face of the third young man who is clearly the main "cameraman" of this expedition.
part of me feels like this could be like a burner tiktok or somn that the backrooms movie team is using to promote the upcoming film without telling people its them. Artists have done this sort of stuff in the past. Would be a sick ass way to promote it
Wow, that has to be a set, with CGI to make it look like the Backrooms. No way you can do that good with just green screen.
Someone should make a movie on the backrooms. If pulled off well, it would be dope!
what wiki do you use to find levels
There needs to be a backrooms movie that starts in the 80s with organizations like ASYNC with VHS and then jumps to current time like this to continue the story with teens and 20 somethings with smartphones.
Ikr
I cannot believe how good this is
EARLYYYYYYY btw I love your videos
THIS WAS CRAZZZYY GOOD
That monster is a bacteria that trapped in a backroom in a long time and then evolve into a monstrous form to survive in that domain.
I'm starting to think they just built their own sets and then added a monster into the set via blender.
Maybe they asked if they could build the backrooms underneath the place then they got a monster model and made it do that?
This looks amazing
