As far as i understand its also important to have 15 will on poison builds to get a round number out of base poison dmg. Cuz ur at negative magic dmg to start.
poison was soooooo good back when you could stack 16 add magic damage so each posion stack is 12 mag dmg which basically guarenteed a kill after 3-4 hits even less with rupture
I was running this nonstop when we had multi class, take this posion + weapon mastery (surv bow) + sprint most disgusting build, really wish we could use surv bow as rogue, but i guess that would be too broken :')
Wouldn’t stacking true just be better since it ignores magic resist? The only reason to stack additional is for the increased locational damage modifier but poison is not effected by that I believe.
idk i feel like without creep/ or in actual lobbies people never really give you the chance as often to sneak up that close to get the advantage you were having in all the fights.
So poison weapon and building magic dmg basically just means u lose a perk slot. For a wee bit of dmg and to make it so ur dmg is overtime. And instead u could just buils full true phys, do the same or more dmg with the bonus perk slot. And not give the enemy a timeslot to kill u while u gotta wait in the poison. On top of that u cant hide in shadows with weapons out. Poison weapon is hot ass.
You cant really man fight pdr fighter, cleric or barb that well on rouge, they don't just die to landmine since everyone maxing hp and armour. Plus this way you don't have to spend 4k a kit if you yourself get landmined. even after cleric nerf from 3 to 2 damage, its like taking 7.5% of your damage away + armour and yes poison ticks are still getting reduced but atleast playing the way he is you wont get two shot. ambush its like 10 burst damage so if you get like 3 hits off youre gunna do more in magic damage than you would physical after magic resist andd armour resist. Not saying this is optimal Im sure classic landmine will still be stronger in a lot of cases but this is really not that bad when you think about the cost and how it wont fall too short of the damage from ambush anyway

U also dont know if a person is dead to ticks or not, so you might end uo overcommiting 1 or 2 extra stabs to "make sure" The only real plusside is prices on juwelry. But with these drawbacks id still recomend even green rings with true phys over blue rings with true magic damage.
@@Alfie-ni7lxpoisoned weapon doesn’t do damage to cleric. It does innately half duration so less stacks and less damage, but also they have perseverance which makes it only tick for 1 damage.
@@mikahoolwerff3563 I know that poison is a meme against cleric but it doesn't mean poison isn't viable, weakpoint is a meme on low armour players increasing your damage by like 8% for 3 seconds or you could take rupture and deal closer to 20% of their hp as a dot. But we still always take weakpoint, poison is similar to rupture in this way, its a different method of damaging people, ambush if you're really geared is gunna give you like 25 bonus damage on hit (forgetting armour reduction) posion without anyone stacking magic resist is going to do more depending on how many stacks you can put on them and if you can keep resetting the dot with knives and crossbow. different way to play not even that much worse if you think about it. at the end of the day you're pretty unlikely to kill a cleric atm anyway from landmining them before you're just double tapped and can't escape because you're slow as balls.

No shadow plays, dying cuz ur waiting on tick dmg, u can heal through dot dmg, u lose another perk (likely ambush which is never worth it) I get what ur saying, but its just not right. There is a reason why not a single geared or experienced rogue runs it unless they run zero gear.
@@VinipuhasDark and Darker is a very intelligent game where a stat like “buff duration” and “debuff duration” only affects spells applied to you and not to anything you apply to others. I.E. If a Cleric with +20% buff duration casts Bless on you, it DOES NOT last 20% longer for you, but only if they cast it on themselves.
Stilleto has better burst dps and a bonus damage on the third swing, however it is much shorter range than Rondel, requires more precision (easier to miss your swings), and has a small recovery time after the third swing (Rondel has no loss in swing speed)

Dunno if it looked very good here. A lot of these guys straight died to the 3 hit combo of the stiletto.

Wouldn't you need a Debuff roll on items when Poison/Bleed is applied? for longer duration
Debuff duration is for debuff durations on you, not your enemy

Stilleto cheaper in gearscore points and have good animation
Rondel have easyest animation and much more long
