Don't expect them to listen when you just let them talk and not pay attention. They should be sitting at the kitchen table and have a discussion. No distractions with toys. Speaking of toys this is just my opinion...don't get upset. I'm just being honest. I know you appreciate honesty....I'm just a 63yr old grandma. With a ton of experience with 5 kids inc. Step kids. I wouldn't give them ANY presents if they're portraying bad behavior. You need to nip this in the bud P. They are old enough to start showing manners. Check with Mia's Dr. Regarding her bedwetting. I'm sure you've already done that. Perez, don't beat yourself up about anything. It's not that deep.right now all we can do is take each day as it comes. Turning something small into a gigantic snowball does NOT accomplish anything. Take it easy and lay off the alcohol. This is just MY opinion. I really do love and care about you. Take care. I'm just talking to you just like I talk with my other friends and family. And ALL of my framily loves the honesty and compassion we have for one another. We will get thru this.
Yes I agree it is time for them to start earning the gifts. He needs to set up a star chart. If they don't earn about 4 or 5 stars that week then no gifts. It will teach them control & how to make choices. But all of us parents had to learn & it is okay to make mistakes. But learning from each other is always good.

Maybe you are going through anxiety more than depression. It can be confusing. Sometimes it just is an unsettled feeling. Maybe your little ones bladder is just not strong yet. When she gets tired of feeling wet, she will stop doing it. I think it takes time. Your kids are all beautiful!
It’s hard being a perfectionist. It takes a while to find a balance that you’re happy with.

I really miss the world pre-rona I guess that’s how it will go down living pre-rona vs post-rona! Normal life or not, rewarding bad behavior is giving them the wrong message. I can be bad and still get presents....yay. NOT. It's only going to get worse.
The gifting is good. Maybe it's time for him to take them to the toy store & let them pick out a toy at a price he sets. But they have to earn a certain amount of stars a week. But if they do not then it is no toys for them that week.
Perfection is very old school. Most of us had it as kids.

I am not saying anything bad, you are a wonderful father. But talk to her about what happens when you are not around. Maybe someone is picking on her. At school??
He is the one picking on her. Kids notice everything if he always tells her in front of her siblings Mia you act up the most that can affect her. That is why the son tells on her all the time cause he gets on her the most. You can see in the video when he starts in on her she shy's up, hides & looks sad at times. He needs to stop doing that. If he does not she will grow up & not have a true good relationship with him & her siblings. But other then that he is a good Papi to his kids. Parents are always learning as well.
I dont think any of of us are behaving well, I know iam not ,lol

You could say that again. It has been hard on everyone. My quadruplets have not been happy about turning 18 during Rona & graduating online. So if adults & teens are having it hard. Kids & babies are having it even harder.

All three of the kids do look like him & are his twins. Mario looks like him as a kid & his Papi. Mia looks like him now, has his eyes & looks like her baby sis with blonde hair. The baby looks like him when he was a kid & her big sis with dark hair.

Mia should not have been a part of the un boxing if she is misbehaving and not listening she knows what she's doing she should have watched everyone else enjoy their presents give her some type of incentive to work for don't make it so easy
I wouldn't have given her a gift either. Maybe not given any this week. Until they improve their behavior. Raising children is the hardest job there is Perez. When you have your mom there or are able to take the kids out it is so easy. Its times like this that really how how hard parenting 3 children are. I wish you luck. I raised 3...Made alot of mistakes. Did some great things to. I will give you a little advice...stop the gifts for a bit. Get them back under control. Its going to be so much harder once this is over. I tell you this from the heart. Its fricken hard I know.

@@lindachavezw...246 He should change the gifting to earning a star a day. If they earn 4 or 5 stars that week they can either go to the toy store or get the gift. But if not then they will not get anything that week. It works in everything My quadruplets are 18 now. It teaches them self control & how to make choices.
@Ms K Johnson that would have been unfair to Mia cause Mario was acting out too. He can't just single out Mia. You can't do kids like that. Sounds like they both did not need toys that week. It's time for them to have a star chart to earn toys.

Give the child a break Perez. She's not getting to go to school, or her extra activities, is stuck in with sibling's all the time and has no Mother or even a second parent to get that extra attention. You can think that's not a factor but it is. Try being gentler and having talks with her, not just when she's bad and not harshly in front of her brother and sister. YOU are making her like this! Smdh 🤦♀
@ Andrea B.. what do you mean give the child a break he gives her a lot of breaks they are all living their best life getting gifts several times a week whether their behavior is good or bad they are still rewarded because he loves them even if you are in a one-parent home that one parent can give you an abundance of love being in the home yes is one thing but they do have a swimming pool and things of that nature so saying give her a break does not negate the fact that she tends to misbehave with all of these things that she is privileged to have

A tad harsh but I do agree. I always did a few minutes individual time during bedtime routine after story time when they were snuggled down, where they could open up to me and I opened up to them. Not about adult stuff of course like money or struggles, but funny things I did as a kid. Is some of my and their favourite memories. 💞

Why bother even trying to talk to Mia about her misbehaving. She doesn’t care. Plus you don’t follow through anyway. You still spoil her and she’ll keep being a spoilt brat because you let her get away with it. It’s about time you gave her boundaries. Poor Mario gets left in the background because he’s totally overshadowed by Mia. He’s a good boy but doesn’t get the attention and recognition that Mia gets. She hogs the camera, plays up to it and shows off in front of it. All to get your attention. She needs discipline and some kind of consequence for her actions when she misbehaves. You are a bad parent if you continue to let her get away with her bad behaviour
