What a perfect brand to start your series with! I have several samples from FDB on their way. I can't wait to sample and add one to my collection. I will be deciding from Oud Orange, Oud Jaune and Santal Complet. I can see myself going down a rabbit hole with this brand :) I definitely plan on picking up Minuit et Demi when it relaunches. The fragrance profile hits all the right notes for me.

Hi Abby, So happy to see you talk about Fragrance du Bois. I have Sahraa Oud and love it so much that I have a backup. Sahraa is comforting and lasts 10+ hours for me. The perfumer is Francois Merle-Baudoin. I’m thinking about buying Pure Oud to layer with some of my other fragrances. Have you tried Material from Amouage? Gets you noticed but doesn’t shout. It’s a warm resinous incense amber spice created by Cecile Zarokian.

I’ve never tried anything from Fragrance du Bois but as soon as the shops open in the UK (not till at least 12th April ☹️) I’ll be finding a stockist and heading over there. I love oud, rose, gourmand and “floriental” fragrances. Oud Satin Mood was my best find last year. The Silk Mood is also very nice. I like Tom Ford’s Rose Prick and Velvet Orchid. I’ve just discovered Delina which is so summery though I prefer the exclusif which isn’t quite so sweet.
YAY! I think you will love Fragrance du Bois- knowing some of the other fragrances you love. I love Delina Exclusif the best as well! I went through a whole bottle of the Exclusif but still have the original and the new La Rosee!! BUT the Exclusif is creamier and not quite as sweet - like you said! I own Santal Complet and really like it but doesn't last hardly any time on me. I was so surprised that it totally disappeared in about 10 minutes. Apparently it's not just me, read the reviews. I enjoy most of the perfumes Demi recommends and would've brought her perfume but I've read that doesn't last well either. I'm going to check the intense versions of Fragrance Du Bois scents next time.
Thanks for sharing! I am so sorry the fragrance disappears on you! I do find Santal Complet to be a softer fragrance but definitely get a good 4-6 hours on my skin. I also love it sprayed on my clothes. As far as Demi's fragrance that one lasts all day for me. It is not a strong fragrance but enjoyed the wafts throughout the day. I definitely think there are some stronger FdB's--- Oud Jaune is a powerhouse. Oud Orange... xoxo
Abbie where do you get your samples? I live in an area where I have to drive almost 3 hours to smell any really good fragrances, and I love fragrance!! I really enjoy your fragrance videos! I have purchased samples from lucky scent before but found them so small and hard to deal with.

Klair- I think is is definitely unisex and that a guy could wear it! It does have a tropical vibe that some may associate with more feminine but it is a creamy sandalwood fragrance and I definitely think a guy could rock it! xoxo
I do love this brand, I have oud orange, oud jaune and santle complet. I cant live without them but I just wish they lasted more than a couple of hours. Id love to know the chemical reason why, maybe cause they don't want synthetic notes in their fragrances to make them last longer I dont know. Just a shame for the price point. That's my only gripe, mine and many others. Update: Just read on their Instagram they are making an intense version 😳
