Inspiring movie I was honored to enjoy in fellowship with sisters in Christ . . . The importance of discipleship was my greatest takeaway from this movie. .. discipleship which is often lacking for new Christians. Laughed, cried, and felt convicted throughout the viewing. "two thumbs up"
That’s awesome! When I understood from the Kendrick brothers that their movies are primarily for believers, I was much more glad that they put out resources like their movies to teach something to the church. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Discipleship is dear to my heart. I made sure not to spoil it on my review in the video at least.😅 God bless you!
I love the Kendrick Brothers and I'm glad they're back with a new movie! Both you and Allen Parr gave good reviews on the movie, but I just hope, Philippine cinemas would consider showing this. Or at least streaming platforms. A lot of Christians in Manila really appreciate the Kendrick Brothers' early works and I'm sure they would like to watch this one! 🤩
I really enjoyed this movie. It made me smile plenty of times, and cry plenty of times too! I didn't feel like any of the scenes dragged. The acting was superb, and so was the message. It's a phenomenal film! I agree that it will appeal more to Christians than non-Christians, but that's okay. Everyone should go see it and be encouraged to do more for the Lord.
Yea this sounds pretty accurate.. a lot of people from church loved it and saying I gota see it.. but they’re the older crowd and yea, I’m a big movie guy. I’m sure it’s a “good movie” but if acting and story are lacking..it’s hard to get into lol
I love the Kendrick Brothers movies. We need more good Christian Entertainment. My good friend Shannen Fields-Braswell played the coaches wife in Facing the Giants. New Subscriber here😊
Hello sister in Christ! Glad you enjoyed the movie! And yes, the Lord says to “Go and make disciples.” May we invest in someone else’s life. Thanks for watching this video!
I pray they were tears of joy. I think I need to go to a different theater. The one I went to was the one closest to my house which is not very crowded. God bless you!
To be blunt, it’s a sermon, and not really a movie. It was interesting to watch but as a nonbeliever I was curious why I was basically being harassed by my christian friends to watch it, now I see why. It’s just straight up a sermon with a bit of story sprinkled on top. They have come a ways compared to their earlier movies, but it’s clear that movie making isn’t the priority, rather it’s pushing sermons into movie theaters
Thanks for this feedback. I was curious how a nonbeliever would think about the movie. I do agree with you. I believe the Kendrick brothers have believers in their minds first when making movies and that’s why they’re accused of being preachy. The main objective of their movies is to teach a biblical principle, so yes. It does seem like a sermon in movie form. But you know, I’m glad you watched the movie. I find it interesting that you call yourself an unbeliever. What do you define as one?
I didn’t think about that! But yes, I guess he’s just not a major part of the story. That seems like a potential sequel, though. But to be honest, I feel like that part wasn’t well-thought thru.

I loved the concept of mentorship . How they all have multiple professions and can help its fellow men.
Me too! It reminds me of how Paul was toward Titus and Timothy.

It’s a Kendrick brothers film though, so it teaches solid truth.

I agree that we need to support Christian film makers (and Christian content creators too!)
Yes! That’s what we do!

@@HopeandFutureDevotions I appreciate it
And in terms of nonbelievers, I guess I would just say that it's anyone who doesn't believe in a god.
@@apersonontheinternet8354then what is it that you are living for and what is your evidence that it’s reliable?
Wow its good 👍
Glad you liked it!
Sana ipalabas sa cinehan sa pinas

What I didn't get from the movie why didn't the dad go back to the son and wife?
I didn’t think about that! But yes, I guess he’s just not a major part of the story. That seems like a potential sequel, though. But to be honest, I feel like that part wasn’t well-thought thru.
WISHING I HAD 20 PEOPLE WITH ME SO THEY COULD GO OUT AND SPREAD THE WORD TO 20 MORE....EXCELLENT MESSAGE
Such a great message in the movie right?! You can still watch another time with 20 more people.🤪
Great movie. Must see. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.
Must see indeed!
Such a good movie, such great theology but super corny in the beginning lol.
Same feeling. Lol
