- These are the driving sequences from the Stunt Driver Show at movie world on the gold coast. Evo X's. Drifting woo!
There were no signs/notices to say I couldnt record etc.

Looks like a lot of fun! I would imagine those Evo's have been converted to RWD, either that or the surface is super slipppery!
I loved that show saw it in May 09. It's located at Movie World Theme Park Gold Coast Australia for those of you wondering.

the first time I went to movie world, all they have where ford cop cars like the ones in those famous movies (i think) and now they have evos? man, i should have gone to movie world now to see those evos put up a great show!

There is a 'storyline' in between the driving sequences. I just filmed the driving parts lol

I work at Movie World selling the pit pass experience which is getting in the car in a private session after the shows and replicate the stunts the drivers do in the show. the cars have had all the power shifted to the rear and have locked the diff. these days there are only 3 cars at a time but it is still mad.

where is this show ..that is a lot of evo x ....now this is like circus meets evo x they'd be doing everything
It's either they cut the drivetrain in the front, they fucked around with the center differential control, or they're just really that good
@SyLaRSaGe nope, ACD only has 3 settings Tarmac, Gravel, and Snow. Tarmac is 50/50, gravel is 40/60, and snow is 60/40. None of these settings allow for the RWD drifting shown in the video

is that possible to do all these stunts with 4WD EVOs? I mean standard EVOs with no mods?

this is in the gold coast in australia at warner bros movie world, 10 mins from my front door!!
They purchased 10 Evo X - 2 hero cars, 1 reverse mounted hero car, 1 hero car on the canvalier ramp, and 6 policia cars
id wanna be a cop if they were gonna give me an Evo X patrol car lol

and so everyone knows this is possible in an awd evo I know since I get my evo sideways all the time but for what they are doing they probably got some power mods and a stonger lsd and driveshaft which wouldn't be to expensive to do to all those evo's

I doubt it. They do this all day, every day.
I just can't see a AWD there somehow!
All u need to do is disconnect the front drive shaft and yea they are running them with RWD

Wrong. These cars are AWD but have the front drives disconnected. There is only power going to the rear wheels.

All cars have differentials.
My guess is yes.
converted to rwd, and as far as i know their not evos their rally arts fitted with evo body kits. bigger turbo, and a new ecu

the cars are Costom.. -,- and it wont drift like that a normal car.. it will but surely it will sot a alot of damage in your tires, breaks or even an accident... RWD its not noticeable where the smoke is from...

@ Kevin when u can afford an evo x and actually have any form of data to back up your negativity towards a x please let us know...
@ImportSilvia wow. sti has less hp then an evo does and it's still faster
they already have a rear differential..... evo's are awd...... sigh....
y would they spend an extra 10g's on a mr.. they dont need paddle shifters and gps and all the other goodies for the drift car=] plus stick is better to drift anyways
