Just bought one, the cord on the system is a RCA cable(first used in 1940s for RCA’s record players). You can get two adapters for like 5 bucks on Amazon. Also make sure you tune your TV to channel 3

hey pal, this video was posted in 2013, i believe radio shacks were still quite popular then! also i live in a super duper small town, and we kept our radio shack until like covid last year lol.
@@achilles8119 for real, they were so nice to just have like a dedicated electronics store lmao. now it's like ... your best bet is amazon, which is always hit or miss :(
Interesting. I have an ATARI 2600 and it has a long tv aerial line, not a phono jack plug nor does it have screw thread so whilst this is good advice I'm sure for *some people* it apparently doesn't cover all models. Thought I'd mention this so that if people have one of the many (7?) 2600 model variations they don't pull their hair out trying to follow your advice. Nice video though.
Eh, this video's older. "Pretty awesome" was a term I threw around because I think old games are cool in general. It's far from the worst Atari game, anyway. It's straightforward, and plays fine.
This kid has better intonation than half of the top youtubers. Props.
I agree hes awesome!! Very knowledgeable
11 years later and this video is still helping folks out. Appreciate it!
