Looks great as usual! You should try these sopes with shredded lettuce as a topping along with the ones you used. My nana used to make sopes and she'd put a pile of shredded lettuce and some of her chile OMG I can almost taste them❤️

If you didn't know how to make them how do you know the others weren't right? Because normally white flour isn't used in the dough , only Masa Flour salt and water

I made this but bought premade sopes to save effort/time, used lean ground beef, will be browning the sopes dry (brown the top edge, flip, fill, then brown the bottom side once weighed down), and not using avocado to make the calories fit better for me. I forgot about oil to fry the onions so I used it there cuz I wanted to brown them. I will get a better idea of how it all tastes starting the day after tomorrow (this is for food prep and I'm portioning and freezing the main filling). I also bought canned refried beans and am mixing canned diced chipotles with them because it makes them good. It all probably won't be as good as your version, but hopefully it'll be reasonably good. I might have used too much bay but will see.

Danger, men cooking: these turned out really well for me, and delicious; I love Mexican food but hadn’t tried sopes. Every guy should know this hearty dish: what she’s teaching you to make is a homemade pie shell fried, then topped with refried beans and skillet fried steak, potatoes, onions, tomatoes and jalapeños. I could eat this every day.
I pinch my sopes in the middle and put a little oil around it,me and my family eat are's with chicharrón con Chile verde and as well with refried beans,queso also onion mix with queso fresco and limon 😋😋😋😋taste delicious
That bowl is for many sopes not just 1 dish, probably about 20-30 sopes. Sopes are pretty filling , the most I've eaten are 4 large one or 6 small ones. People eat entire pizzas and those are about a bowl of dough. After watching video and recipe says 12 but those are pretty big sopes I would probably eat 1 or 2 and be full .

That looks delicious but I'd end up weighing about 600 lbs if I ate one bowl of that yummy goodness 😁
