Such a great documentary! My grandparents actually lived on the polo grounds and my grandfather worked for the grounds owner. He was the head electrician when Coachella started and I remember every summer staying with them, running around the grounds and seeing Coachella grow up as I did. Such a neat feeling seeing the place I played at become the world's most popular stage.
BLACKPINK was the first Korean Group to ever perform in Coachella, they were the most talked artists of that year and the performance was ICONIC I hope this doc does them justice cause BLACKPINK was a cultural and historical moment in Coachella

The Daft Punk 2006 and Kanye West 2011 sets are two of my favorite Coachella sets of all time. Just simply historic. Beyonce's 2018 set is quickly entering that realm of mythological status too because the concert film and live album captured the energy perfectly. I desparately wish Daft Punk and Kanye released their sets as live albums too (Daft Punk's Alive 2007 is the closest we'll get to capturing that energy of that Coachella set).
It wasn't as good as this video makes it out to be. In fact it was the first Coachella where fans of one artist invaded and really had no interest in the rest of the festival. It was a watershed moment for sure, not entirely for the better, but it was going to happen. They breeze over the fact that Daft Punk blew her away a few hours later, well... there ya go.

I was there and Madonna kept every waiting an hour or longer until she took the stage. The very last song she played "Everybody" and as every one was singing and clapping along she walked off mid song. It was the shortest set ever, but still an iconic moment.
I’ve been going to Coachella since 2004, I was 18 years old and It literally changed my life. My most cherished memories with my best friends are those from Coachella. There is nothing like it. This documentary really captures the embodiment of Coachella. The old days were so raw and the discoveries were so vast but there’s nothing like a modern day Coachella. I had full body chills and lots of tears during this whole documentary. I’m so sad it’s been postponed. I’ve been looking forward next weekend since Coachella ended last year. Post Coachella depression is a real thing. Praying Covid stops soon and we can hug again and listen to beautiful music during sunset sets in the desert with the mountains in the background. There’s nothing like it. It will change your life. Sending love to all those being effected right now💟💟💟

honestly hands down, beyonce really had the best show of all time, this done by a woman makes me even more proud since there are only few main headlining women. The fact that she gave us not only incredible live vocals and 2 hours full with intense choreo but also included HBCUs and the African American culture is beyond amazing.

I didn't expect this documentary to be so great!!! Over here in Europe, Coachella is sometimes portrayed as a place where people just go to take pictures for Instagram. Which some probably do... but this was AMAZING!!!!! And props for going out with Prince... Made me so happy & Cry at the same time. Thank you for this great film. I enjoyed it very much and it brightened my day. I learned a lot about the festival. Happy that you succeeded!

I was there when Prince played. They didn't announce him till a few days before the festival. I watched Flogging Molly perform on the side stage last set since I'm both Irish and a punk fan. At the end of the amazing set Dave King said "I never thought I would ever say these words in my life, but up next is PRINCE about 100 yards over there"

The Daft Punk 2006 and Kanye West 2011 sets are two of my favorite Coachella sets of all time. Just simply historic. Beyonce's 2018 set is quickly entering that realm of mythological status too because the concert film and live album captured the energy perfectly. I desparately wish Daft Punk and Kanye released their sets as live albums too (Daft Punk's Alive 2007 is the closest we'll get to capturing that energy of that Coachella set).

It wasn't as good as this video makes it out to be. In fact it was the first Coachella where fans of one artist invaded and really had no interest in the rest of the festival. It was a watershed moment for sure, not entirely for the better, but it was going to happen. They breeze over the fact that Daft Punk blew her away a few hours later, well... there ya go.

I was there and Madonna kept every waiting an hour or longer until she took the stage. The very last song she played "Everybody" and as every one was singing and clapping along she walked off mid song. It was the shortest set ever, but still an iconic moment.

I’ve been going to Coachella since 2004, I was 18 years old and It literally changed my life. My most cherished memories with my best friends are those from Coachella. There is nothing like it. This documentary really captures the embodiment of Coachella. The old days were so raw and the discoveries were so vast but there’s nothing like a modern day Coachella. I had full body chills and lots of tears during this whole documentary. I’m so sad it’s been postponed. I’ve been looking forward next weekend since Coachella ended last year. Post Coachella depression is a real thing. Praying Covid stops soon and we can hug again and listen to beautiful music during sunset sets in the desert with the mountains in the background. There’s nothing like it. It will change your life. Sending love to all those being effected right now💟💟💟

honestly hands down, beyonce really had the best show of all time, this done by a woman makes me even more proud since there are only few main headlining women. The fact that she gave us not only incredible live vocals and 2 hours full with intense choreo but also included HBCUs and the African American culture is beyond amazing.

I didn't expect this documentary to be so great!!! Over here in Europe, Coachella is sometimes portrayed as a place where people just go to take pictures for Instagram. Which some probably do... but this was AMAZING!!!!!
