I can’t wait to see Denji vs Makima animated. In one of the panels when Denji sliced her in half, I believe her torso was spinning around as she was fusing back together and she used the momentum to give him a gut punch right as she fully reattached. I love the action in Fujimoto’s work so much.
when you realize "denji" can kill 7 hybrid is bcs it's pochita. denji is not that skill yet.
and with all the talk about "you're not chainsaw man" prove she didn't understand chainsaw man at all.

The Theological approach to interpret Chainsawman is really my thing, and I think it's brilliant. Since this methodological approach hasn't been brought out extensively in the community before. And based from the author latest works, which is Fire Punch, I do say Fujimoto has a particular interest in religion, especially Judeo Christian. He knows quite well his area of expertise of using Religion as a story pivot while packaged it in a more modern and apologetic views, which is fresh for Weekly Shounen Jump, then centered it towards a small fragment of social norms and values in a temporal and grounded settings.
Since I'm also a student of knowledge, in religion, Elda Rant has been the most enjoyable session for me haha. I just cant wait for the author to actually brought up Islamic Theological aspects into his works, which I anticipated, but I don't think he will.
If I may ask, if you don't mind, what is your stand and/or opinion towards Islamic Theological values? Thx!

Danji and Makima are fortunate to have the same taste for movies, and I believe this is also Fujimoto, but if you watch Fujimoto deliberately depict other audiences around them,
These ordinary people get excited about stupid action movies, laugh or cry for superficial romantic comedies,
They may have a very low artistic taste,but that's just how people is.
just like danji's very basic dreams,want to eat enough, sleep well, and have some sex.
Unlike other people's dreams that are so great or noble, demon hunters want to protect their families, leech demons want to eat up all humans, and makima wants to create a utopian Barabara….Even though these little dreams are so low-level, for them, these are their entire world.
But in reality, these small dreams of ordinary people are always forced to sacrifice for the great and noble dreams of others.
I think Fujimoto shows the spirit of fraternity and humanism with these comparisons of big and small dreams as well as good and bad movie tastes

the bible is a big collection of writings from a bunch of dudes who were tripping balls in the desert + a bunch of not entirely compatible takes on the same concept jammed together into one book. basically the only thing that's consistent about god in the bible is that he's an asshole

@@SomeEuropeanChick you are super welcome. i'm at 22 and a half minutes now, probably gonna get through this video in a few chunks because [drama in my apartment complex that doesn't need to be explained] but damn, you're in there worrying that you're BAD at expressing yourself? not a chance in hell. i'd argue you're actually fantastic at it.
some people might have trouble following this kind of stuff especially if they don't tend to research/think as deeply into various mythologies (which is not a dig at those people, everybody's got their skills and things they're better or worse at than others), but honestly i feel like you could teach classes on this shit if you wanted. and now i'm more interested in gnosticism in general than i was previously. i get way into various takes on kabbalah and then use that theming in my work (writing) a lot, and i do know a decent bit about gnosticism but i think you did a better job laying out the basic concepts of yaldabaoth, the demiurge, etc than pretty much anyone i've ever seen or heard. you high key have a serious talent at taking incredibly complicated things and making the base level of understanding much easier to follow and absorb, while also still being excellent at diving deeper into those topics. it's genuinely impressive.
your reactions have also been an EXTREMELY welcome time sink and distraction at a pretty stressful point in my life where i have almost no control (god dammit, that wasn't even on purpose lol) over what's going on and am mostly just... waiting and hoping i'm treated fairly by someone who is in no way legally obligated to treat me fairly, because i've done everything i'm capable of doing and what happens next is legitimately out of my hands. (i don't know much about austria but america couldn't give a shit less whether or not the law actually applies to anyone who isn't middle class or above, and i'm definitely not middle class or above). i am fairly sure it will turn out okay for me but holy shit do i ever appreciate things to distract me from that stress. so thank you again, for making awesome content just in general, and for it being there at a time when it's honestly helping me get through some shit even just on by giving me more to think about.

I would like to add your section on Danji's taste in movies. On the day they dated, when other audiences enjoyed the movie, neither Danji nor Makima cried or laughed. Only in the last movie did Danji shed tears, and when he looked at Makima, she also cried. This indicates that he may not understand what exactly happened in the movie, but good movies can still impress him
