They are so cool Hyman had one dual cowl phaeton at Hershey. It was probably the most exquisite Nash I ever saw.. I was meaning to go back there, but I side tracked and didn't go back
When road vehicles had twin spark plugs and eventhough there is a single distributor, it is considered two separate ignition systems, noted by the 2 ignition coils. Possibly there is a switch somewhere, should on the dash, maybe the ignition switch itself with 3 positions(ign.1-off-ign.2). The purpose of a dual ignition system is if one starts acting up, you could switch to the other ignition system. If it has 2 sets of points, the systems are independent. I don't know if Nash had acquired the term 'Nash-can' back then but this is a cool car and I wouldn't if it were mine. That Graham is still one heck of a car.
Nice car in gorgeous condition. The pin striping on the wheels is cool. I'm not crazy about the beads on the hood and even though the fender skirts are nicely done they make the car look like it is squatting down. I'm surprised at how nice the interior is. The radio is awesome and the engine looks cool. The WYR is hard because although I love the Airflow I would choose the 1934 Graham Great Eight Supercharged and the 1934 Hudson Eight.
The song is "Just My Style", Gary Lewis (Jerry Lewis's Son) and The Playboys, 1965. That Nash is EXQUISITE... Isn't it amazing, how "high quality" that things were built years ago? I've had the distinct honor of riding in both a J and an SJ Deusenberg... Both were phenomenal and VERY "mechanical"... They make incredible music. But I've never had the pleasure or opportunity to ride in, or drive a Nash of this era... I wonder how they perform? Having 2 plugs per cylinder had to have had a lot to do with the "Duesenberg" nickname. As always, GREAT REVIEW and a fun watch! Cheers
That is the sone and band but what is the next line that comes next That's awesome I have yet to ride in a duesenburg Still have yet to cover a duesenburg

I totally agree with the too many morons statement, I was driving in the city the other day ( rarely do I ever go to the city ) and everyone was one their phones when they were driving screens everywhere
Wow Jay! Two VERY slick coupes in a row! This one is a looker, too! The Nash Advanced Eight seems like a really cool engineering piece, but maybe it was TOO complicated(?) LOTS of spark plugs to replace, and I would bet there are two sets of points, too with the dual coils. A BEAUTIFUL car, nonetheless. WYR #1 Graham Supercharger! #2 Reo with the self-shifter!!

I totally agree and a lot of times to get swept under the rug I try to feature as many as I can. The goal is to cover all of them from 1930s through 1964 specially American cars as well as some other cars outside those parameters I want to put 30s cars back on the map I think it's an absolute pity that nobody really drives them anymore on the road I mean when was the last time you saw a 1930s packard driving just to drive and not going to a show
I had a conversation with a person and we were discussing the car brands He was the CEO of several companies and he made the statement that Nash did not have strong brand loyalty A Nash buyer moved from brand to brand and Nash changed who they were too many times. For example Ford always knew who they were as well as Buick He and I had many hours of conversation on the brand position of automobiles
For both WYR scenarios, I’ll take the Nash. I like some of the detailing on the fenders, the hood, and the chrome used on the headlights , running lights and tail lights. I also thought how the headlights were put on was interesting.
It sucks the whole AI thing people are praising it as this I don’t know savior to humanity might be a little bit extreme but all it’s doing is baking people lazy and it’s not accurate.. it’s terrifying because in 10 years time we’re not gonna know what’s real and what’s not, you can still see when things aren’t real. It’s going to be super hard to tell in the future. I don’t understand why anybody would want that technology
That's a great looking car and a very nice restoration. Now, I noticed something very unusual in the brochure, early in the video. This car has a worm drive in the rear axle. I'm not aware of a single other American car doing so, though the French were big on it. It's a way of achieving a lower car with smaller transmission tunnel, prior to the development of hypoid drive. I don't know why Hotchkiss drive got a mention - that just means a front engine sending power to the rear axle via a tailshaft. Cheers.
There are actually a bunch of cars for future worm drive. I'm pretty sure the model A has it I can't think of other cars other than the model T off the top of my head
@@What.its.like. Nah, Ford T and A didn't use it. I'm only aware of Peugeot and Renault using it in the 50's and 60's. The catalogue pic of it is bang in the middle of the screen at 2.51 in the video. Have a gander. You'll see how it allows for a lower driveshaft and thus less hump in the floor.

I want to 37 airflow because by then all of the issues were resolved with the engines falling out of those cars 36 airflows are nice as well… I’m on the grand blue streak kick I think it would be really cool if I could find one of those really cheap and take it to Greenfield Village next year and give rides. I think that would be awesome but they’re so hard to find.
