Had a 79 302 one as a 1st car. Man that thing was indestructible. Now after trading it in on a newer car 33 years ago I miss it. The back seat had been used extensively while parked. To be young again for a few years I'd trade what's left of my life immediately.
Had a ‘79 t-bird that was my first car. It was in mint condition. It was all light green with dark green interior. The car was indestructible! I used to drive on the highway and come to my turn and would downshift to 1st gear and it would chirp the tires. Lol. I remember driving in a snowstorm with sandbags in the trunk and winter tires on it and it was a tank in the snow. It was a great car! I remember my mom telling me that if I could park that thing that I could park anything. She was right. I ended up selling it when I was in the army for the same price I bought it for. $1500. It’s probably worth more now. I ended up getting a mustang then traded that one in for a new ‘94 mustang gt. I miss that car as well. Had it when I was in the army. I used to do all my maintenance on that thunderbird as it was so easy to work on. Miss that car and it will always remind me of my youth . I ended up breaking the passenger seat lol (I’m sure you can figure out how) and my buddies in the army always f’d with me over it and said “if you don’t break the seat you don’t get the meat” lol . That was just one occurrence in this car. I utilized the hood a lot too lol
BEAUTIFUL T-BIRD!!!!! I OWNED A BLK AND GREY ONE BACK IN THE DAY!!!! IT HAD THE FACTORY MAG WHEELS AND ALSO PAINTED ON PIN STRIPES!!!!! I DON'T KNOW IF THE PINSTRIPING WAS FACTORY OR AN ADD ON FROM THE DEALER/I BOUGHT MINE AS THE SECOND OWNER FROM THE DEALER!!!!! I WISH THAT IT, LIKE ALL OF MY OTHER CARS THAT I STILL HAD THEM ALL!!!!!
Love the car but a shame about the wheels not being original. People are understanding that these are very special. I call it Lee's special dream car for the masses.
Me gusta el carro; 1979 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau Coupé( Guri Conquistador); un carro deportivo de dos puertas; soy José Rafael Grange Fuenmayor de Venezuela; saludos.
Only thing I can figure is personal preference. But like you said, an original motor with only 29 K miles ??? Doesn't figure in my book. Something isn't stirring the coolaid man !!!! ???????????
Hi Soloclone this one has been sold but we do have a low mile Hardtop in stock! Are there any other models you would be interested in? www.uniqueclassiccars.com

Class.

That's one sexy bird ! 👌🏾😍🔥🔥🔥
So, how much for the boat, mate?
The days when people bought a car because it looked good , not because it was practical.
Wish I could get someone to come look at my 77

5 digit odometer cant assume anything
and then he says the motor was pulled and cammed
why pull a 29k motor from an all original car, doesnt add up

Wouldn’t a car fax verify the mileage on this vehicle
Carfax isn't availble on vehicles prior to 1981 (17 digit vin)
It won't last long it will be purchased.
A nice cheap classic.
I bet u drive a Honda
Or a Yugo...
What's cheap to you may not be cheap to everyone else, Mr. DeepPockets.
I wonder if this is still available?
