This brings back so much emotion and nostalgia. The memories... man I don’t even know where to start. Summer of 2010: I was in 3rd grade, my family had just moved about 500 miles away, so we had to give away our pets because they couldn’t handle the drive. We had no money, neither of my parents had jobs. I did have a wii though. We stayed at my crazy (literally) grandmas house in the hood, and man that wii was my life. All I had was new super Mario bros. I saved some money and my dad took me to game stop for the first time. With 40 dollars of birthday money, I spotted SUPER MARIO GALAXY. I put in the Wii and was determined to save peach after I saw her kingdom get destroyed and the happy festival ruined. The game was my refuge to the harsh reality outside of it. This song sticks with me to this day. I loved gliding with those flowers in the gusty garden, hearing this magical tune. I still have this game and the console. Sometimes I’ll put it on and cry because of all the thoughts that come into mind. I was so innocent and sad at the time and just had infinite love for the game that sticks with me to this day. Well they don't actually close it, they just made the black hole to restore the things it swallow. (But technically the black hole recreated a mini big bang who restore the galaxy) (So yes, everyone died, but they were created again in the same form and with the same memories)
I tell ya what, this game still looks like a masterpiece. I know it's mostly the bumped resolution, but it legit looks like it could be a 2017 game instead of a 2007 game.

I never really understood the ending back as a child, and was really confused what the heck happened, and finally learning about it years later, I can never stop crying whenever I see it. Thank you Super Mario Galaxy for this magical journey. (Side Note: I would also like to thank Super Mario Galaxy 2, since I got it 2 or 3 years ago, and was able to beat it 100% with Mario and Luigi)

Super Mario Legends well the boulder Geist is hard it did only take one try for me but when he summons the rocks you can shoot star bits at them to destroy them and the daredevil comet took 23 trys

Ah, this was a good trip through memory lane. I think my favorite bosses had to be megaleg and BoulderGeist Also, those massive bosses chasing the player around at phase 3 anger is one of the most terrifying things this game has to offer

This game is so good that I actually beat it 6 times. All the bosses are so cool and I love the gameplay, but for whatever reason, I actually beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 twice before beating this game once. This game is SOOOO GOOD, the Galaxy games easily reigns superior over so many of the other mario games.
As an 8-year old, I didn’t have the courage to fight kingfin. I was scared! When I replayed this game at 12, I learned how relatively easy he was to beat.
This game has so much nostalgia. I would come home in 3rd grade, boot up the Wii, and just have fun playing. I especially remember fighting Kingfin and thinking about how cool a freaking giant skeleton shark was.

I always thought they took the idea of megaleg from quadraxis, how you go up the legs, it's a giant robot, you have to destroy the "brain" of both of them, there are a lot of differences, though.
I remember watching videos like this when the game first came out because I didn’t have it but I loved it so much. Then for my birthday my grandparents got it for me and so realize I was like seven years old so I was like crying because of how happy I was. It meant so much to me, this brings back great memories. Still can’t get past the first bowser though ;-; I’m probably going to go and power up the game again and play some easy bosses to prepare. Lol.
I never finished the game when I first played it. I just didn’t have the motivation to. 6 years later when I was 14, I finally completed it. I remember watching the final scene and getting ready emotional. This game teaches you an important lesson. How nostalgic.
I remember that I would always defeat the final boss just to see the ending, it makes me cry every time and it still does to this, this brings nostalgia❤

This game is so good that I actually beat it 6 times. All the bosses are so cool and I love the gameplay, but for whatever reason, I actually beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 twice before beating this game once. This game is SOOOO GOOD, the Galaxy games easily reigns superior over so many of the other mario games.

As an 8-year old, I didn’t have the courage to fight kingfin. I was scared! When I replayed this game at 12, I learned how relatively easy he was to beat.

This game has so much nostalgia. I would come home in 3rd grade, boot up the Wii, and just have fun playing. I especially remember fighting Kingfin and thinking about how cool a freaking giant skeleton shark was.

I always thought they took the idea of megaleg from quadraxis, how you go up the legs, it's a giant robot, you have to destroy the "brain" of both of them, there are a lot of differences, though.

I remember watching videos like this when the game first came out because I didn’t have it but I loved it so much. Then for my birthday my grandparents got it for me and so realize I was like seven years old so I was like crying because of how happy I was. It meant so much to me, this brings back great memories. Still can’t get past the first bowser though ;-; I’m probably going to go and power up the game again and play some easy bosses to prepare. Lol.
I never finished the game when I first played it. I just didn’t have the motivation to. 6 years later when I was 14, I finally completed it. I remember watching the final scene and getting ready emotional. This game teaches you an important lesson. How nostalgic.
